As the lead Designer on the DnD LEGO set I cannot wait to see what Louise thinks of the model! How weird it was to see my job turn up on this video while sitting here painting I can't explain. I love Juggz. Thank you!
I gotta say that set I amazing! I’ve built plenty of Lego sets over the years Lotr and Star Wars being my favs, I’m very excited to see if there are more DnD related sets. I once built a wahammer quest set using Lego…..best game I’ve played with my mates ever! Literally got to properly customise our heroes Thanks for the JUGGZ love ❤
@@PeachyTips There will be more LEGO DnD later in the year with a minifigure collectable series. I hope these two offerings do well enough we get to do more, but for now the four designers (and other LEGO Designer TTRPG players who threw in ideas) are happy that if this is all there ever is then we did the best we could. Like you guys were saying in the show, if you make something with passion then it shows and you'll attract/please an audience, it works for designing a LEGO set too. (In order to not sound like a corporate shill to anyone else reading this I'll also say Warhammer figures are awesome and the Dungeons and Laser figures I just got in a Kickstarter are amazing too, give them money, it's all cool plastic crack just as much as LEGO bricks.)
Well that is exciting! Both about the DnD sets (I’m a big minifig collector too, so they’ll get added to the collection) and I do love the dungeon’s and lasers sets, so much cool stuff these days, and I think GW helps to keep the quality of other brands high aswell.

A great merch idea would be some Juggz branded railway miniatures, maybe dogging gobbos?
Peachy's wardrobe game is indeed unmatched. Also, I learned about Fallout miniature in the video he's talking about here. That format of 3 minis per video is very nice for discoverability.
I may be an outlier but I watch videos for the personalities of the presenter. I love the personality that Peachy and Louise bring to their videos (I don't care about goblins, but I will watch every silly goblin video, because Louise makes them fun). Be yourself, be quirky. I love the commercials that Patrick makes on the thepaintingphase. Ninjon and Miniac have terrific banter. Tabletop Tactics have developed personas around all their presenters. I'm here for the people not always the content (Rob, you are the adult in the room)
I’m one of the random ones who doesn’t collect warhammer but did back in the day stumbled onto the painting phase thanks to jazza and was drawn in by peachy’s stories of games workshop. I genuinely think peach and Louise work really well as a duo talking about creative topics and it’s interesting hearing their insights on you tube and thumbnails.
Hahaha! That’s amazing, I reckon my team/warbands will either be characters he’s played, or just models with his head with different ways to pronounce his name, Shorn Born, Seen Been, Schwan Bee’an etc
Late to this, but Wild Geese is a term for mercenaries, but usually refers to Irish expat soldiers. The "Flight of the Wild Geese" in particular refers to the Jacobite-supporting Irish forces fleeing to Europe in the 1690s. They spent most of the next hundred years dunking on armies across many wars, most of which include the word "Succession" in the title.
In 2020 I had bought a whole bunch of Sean Bean based miniatures to take to a 7TV (Crooked Dice) event. The idea of the cast (which is what crews/gangs are called in 7TV) was that Seans from across the Beaniverse had come together to save reality, probably dying in the process. Due to the date of the event I was calling the cast 'Sean on the Fourth of July'. Sadly, that idea never saw the light of day due to covid.
For me Peachy's energy fluctuates between awesome supply teacher and unhinged uncle. Many a moon ago, when I used to row, I once flipped my boat by accident. About 50 meters from was a Swans nest. It was that day I learnt that Swans are the daemon spawn of Khrone.
As a Warhammer painter for years but TH-camr for just a few weeks, it was nice to hear all this stuff - I think part of the key when you watch anybody do anything - if you feel the love they have for it throughout, you relate to that more strongly. I have the same with my music production - when people hear the love and passion that has gone in, they enjoy it more than people doing stuff to feed algorithms or game systems. That said, I also agree you need to play the game a WEE BIT, just to get some views through the door, otherwise it often becomes a bit futile feeling.
As far as i remember inquisitor had the big problem that everyone had 28mm terrain, and nobody wanted to build an entire set of terrain in a complete other scale
I remember Peachys mordheim scenery he brought in to the Derby store years ago. Even though it was the normal cardboard scenery but it was glued/supported by foam board. We had some amazing staff gaming upstairs lol. Think I used an orc warband. It was a wile ago... lol
Talking about different games / systems. How about using your podcast as a feeder for some games demo's. Strip it back (pun intended!) have a basic setting like the plain table in the background, some basic terrain that can be used for 'all' the games then play a basic game (even learn as you go) to show people about it and showcase them., You can have tie ins where things are painted by Louise / Peachy and lore/rules from Rob. I've tried to start with AoS / 40k and found the scale to big to get started with so now looking at smaller skirmish games and would be great to see some different systems. Plus if you do a podcast without louise will it be called Moobz? Thanks for all your work on this, really enjoyable.
