Your videos are so awesome. Only criticism is that it would be cool if you could distinguish which player is which a little more clearly in the UI, perhaps by showing the players name next to their leader/base instead of separately. Thanks for making high quality SWU content!
I really appreciate the support! Regarding the names, I have positioned them above the gameplay with them on the proper side in past coverage (SCG Baltimore). However, to do this I have to use my c-stand to get the footage. My tripod is much smaller and is a lot easier to set up in game stores. The only downfall is that it doesn't go quite as high and I am in a position where I need to have the footage as it is in this particular video. I will definitely use the c-stand for more footage in the future. So there should be a healthy mix of scoreboard with names on the left and scoreboard up top with names on proper side. Hope all this makes sense!
@onesacker15 That's awesome! They are running constructed tournaments every Sunday at 2:00pm. I am not sure when there next larger event will be, though. Hope to see you around!
Legit question. Is this your real voice or your caster voice? You either have the most caster natural voice of all time or you’re just really good at making your voice a caster voice lol. It feels like those old time radio accents
It is my caster voice. My natural voice definitely sounds a bit different. I actually met a viewer at a local tournament a few months back, and he asked if it was me that did the commentary. He was surprised because my voice sounded different in normal conversation.
Big misplay there g2. Couldve started the 6 energy phase by trading crafty smuggler into jango like he was going to later anyway. By doing so his cad bane wouldve been safe to attack instead of being rested by jangos ability and he wouldve had the damage the following turn
As a Cad player I strugggle with this particular matchup. I think I lose almost 4/5-times. I’m not sure how to improve it. I maindecked 3 black sun starfighters which help a little bit against turn 2 phantoms. But it’s still not enough. Anyone got any good advice?😅
Unfortunately, this is just a really bad matchup for Cad. If you expect a lot of Jango in the meta, Cad is likely not a good choice. The more tweaking done to help the Jango matchup will just make it weaker in others.
@ Sure. But with that said I’m not gonna switch just because the Jango matchup isn’t optimal. I’m prepared to assign another 2-3 cards in the main, and another 3-5 in the sideboard to make it work. So the question still stands. If you HAVE to improve the matchup (without switching deck 😏) what would you do? I’m thinking bout main decking 3 Daring Raid. Together with the 3 black sun starfighters, I’m wondering if that might make the difference…?
@@arashsanari I am certainly not trying to push you to switch decks. Sorry if that came off the wrong way! One of my friends, Quinten from this video actually, was wanting to test the Jango matchup with Cad quite a bit after losing this match. We played several games, and Jango was winning a large majority of the time. With that being said, there are ways to improve the matchup. You mentioned Black Sun Starfighter, which is a big help, especially against Lurking. Two other cards you could consider main decking if you are expecting the Jango matchup would be Relentless Pursuit and Sneak Attack. Relentless Pursuit would be great for capturing any of the non-Lurking space units, and the shield also helps against Jango's exhaust ability. Sneak Attack gives you another out to answering Lurking. Hope this helps!
@@NextGenGamingSC Yeah. And it’s a habit that really sucks imo. Sure, if you do just a ”little. But this incessant shuffling drives you mad. It’s like tics. I actually conseded once over it and just walked away
@@arashsanari It can definitely frustrate some players. Sorry to hear that happened to you. I do shuffle as well sometimes, but I try to keep it at a minimal. It is a habit that is hard to shake once started.
Nice. Game commentary is back!
It is always a blast to do!
Best channel for this and I cannot say how much I appreciate the spoiler filler on these videos now
I really appreciate that! The spoiler space really does seem to be a great element for the viewer.
Let’s go some more gameplay!
Hope you enjoyed it!
“I have waited a long time for this moment” - me, just now
For the face to put to the voice? 😂😂😂
It was great to get some more gameplay coverage!
Love this channel and commentary
Thank you so much for the support!

Nice touch in the end 😅
It seems as though most viewers are really appreciating it!
@@NextGenGamingSC Yeah it’s great
Really enjoy these commentary videos. Played a showdown there at Game Kastle back in set 1. Great store, highly recommend it.
Love to hear that! Also, that is super cool. I missed the set 1 showdown at Game Kastle unfortunately. Are you still in the area?
@NextGenGamingSC I live up near Asheville, NC so a little over an hour away but I try to make it down there when I capable.

@ one it sounds really good and two if you talked like that 24 7 you’d be like a cartoon character haha. Keep up the good work bro live watching these

I definitely agree with this line. Taking out Jango right away would have been a great play.
great vid as always
Thanks, Ryan!
Though the casting is great as always, these were particularly amazing games
I appreciate it! Yes, these were definitely some great games.

Appreciate it!
Are SWU players on the spectrum, or why do I always see them shuffling their hands so often in matches? 😅
This is just a habit picked up by a lot of players in all trading card games.
