QSC K12.2 Review | Best Multi Application Loudspeaker for 2023-2024

As of the time of writing this description I am waiting for my second set of k12.2 speakers to come in. Or technically my third? In this video I go into detail about the specs and my thoughts on this speaker. While the video is not a comparison, I do draw some similarities and differences to other speakers I have. This is a great all around loudspeaker.
I'm also not going to sugarcoat the fact that I had to get a warrantee replacement on the "original set" after around 5 uses, one had failed completely but QSC's tech support department had a new set to me in just a few days and took the issue very seriously. It seems based on their investigation that there was a software defect that was made on the assembly line and could not be addressed through the update on the speakers.

IECs i believe go up to 15 feet.

I think I have 25 footers that came with my yorkvilles, but the extra 5 ft would make a hige difference on these

These speakers are soooo sensitive. Every time the club I work at brought in a new dj one would fail and now just power cycles. We literally went through like 7 of them in under a year and we only got one back from repair. Go with JBL or another serviceable brand if you working in a professional environment.

The smaller 10” tops have a safety mode where you can just reset them but the 12’s just blow and leave you stranded.

I definitely wouldnt recommend these for a club, these aren't designed for that purpose and based on what you described, it sounds like they are being run way past what they can handle, which is fairly common in clubs, the club in my area that uses k12.2's hadnt had any issues to my knowledge as of my retirement from clubs in early 2022 adter installing them in 2018 except that a DJ blew a KS118 becuase he pushed it too hard
