Stage mon 1 is mostly to used at the front of the stage for the vocals and or brass instrument players, or on the sides for the chorus piano players etc..
Stage mon 2 : would be best used for the drum player, in the back of the stage so the drum player can hear and feel the bass player

What is the best setting for the K12.2 tops when used with a pair KS118 subs in a DJ application? Default or Live setting in the top settings?

When paired with the subs :
Live for better clarity inside a hall or club..
Live bright on Outdoors for better high frequency travel, (also set the pole on a high setting to avoid hurting/discomforting guests passing right in front of your set up or guest sitting close in front of your set up.)
On small halls or snall gigs with out your subs:
      Dance is the best…..
--Tip that works for me, hope it works for you..-
      Clean sound from the source,
clean sound at the processing, clean sound at the mixing point,
Quality clean sound at the front of house.. 🔥
I set the speaker level max or 3/4 to the right, aka almost max level..
Lower the main output level of your computer to half,
      1-
if you use a dj mixer such as pioneer or whatever, connected directly to the SPEAKERS,
lower your volumes for each channel, with the master volume set At 5O%-75% level..
      Or
      2-
If all your set up is connect to and external mixer, like allen and heath, yamaha, X32 etc..
Lower all your dj channel and master output levels to 45%-60% levels and boosted up at the external mixer…
“This helps to eliminate having distortion on you music sound, that sometimes we don’t se on the led level indicators, and don’t hear on the front of house do to dj booths usually setting up behind their PA…

Hey bud I got a question should I go with K12.2 or k10. It’s for the church. Also if I buy new one now did they fix the issues or I have to update. Thanks.

Question.... Have not found one damn video on how to set this up.... I have (2) k12.2 and (2) ks118 subs and I run them thru a QSC Touchmix-8. Now I decided to run my Subs Aux out and run my K12.2 main out while cutting the lows to the mains and 80hz to the subs. I'm not even sure if this is the best way to set this up. Any input on this would be great or even direct me to a video to see the best way to set this PA up thanks.

I want these. I use qsc k-10’s with rcf subs for every event. Sounds awesome.

The failure rate on QSC K2 series is ridiculously high. Yes.... QSC will fix or replace them WHEN they die.... but if you are on a gig when they die that's of very little comfort. QSC should have been more proactive when they discovered this fatal flaw and recalled ALL China made power modules manufactured during that period. It is a relatively simple replacement process.,.. if you can get your hands on the new parts.
I no longer consider QSC K2 series speakers a "professional" grade option.... too unreliable.

QSC Released the firmware update for k.2 series and it fixed the problem and all you need to do is make sure your up to date on the boxes and my new K8.2 were factory installed to 1.5.5 version and it’s very reliable

@@TalentLe8159Mine were also up to date on the latest firmware. That is not the problem. A large number of these speakers were made with very cheap Chinese components during the supply chain debacle and instead of recalling thousands of affected units, QSC decided to fix them only after they fail. A huge percentage of them fail, and if you are on a gig when they do you are s.o.l. like I was.
