Hey Sebastian, just completed my trip to Greece including Santorini last week and can't thank you enough for all your suggestions. As you said Pyrgos was my favourite village on the island and food at Metaxi maas was to die for.

Can you clarify...there is an option for a taxi back up from Amoudi Bay so you don't have to take the stairs. I can go down, but I won't be able to get back up walking.
