Do you know what typa Radio is in this vehicle? I have iPhone and so does my husband and We are looking into changing our 5” radio into that 7” screen radio touch screen with carplay. No car shops have new radios they want us to buy the radio then they can install it to the car.
i have a 2016 honda civic EXT and my apple carplay is always glitching, going back and forth on the apple screen and then closing out of it to the regular screen. can you tell me what’s wrong with it? or if would be better to get this bc maybe it’s a wire issue? i use an original apple charger so i don’t know what the problem is.
When CarPlay bugs out on me, I always have good luck doing a hard reboot. Hold down the power button on the audio screen and eventually a message will pop up to reboot the system. Let me know if that makes a difference!

@@jackmccallum335 i find myself having to do this quite often. not sure if any other vehicles w apple carplay do this. chevy, ford etc

Yes! As long as it is currently compatible with wired CarPlay (AKA higher trim)
