So @ Flo Finance, FGN Savings Bond doesn't just come out suddenly every month. It comes out at the first Monday of every month. And closes on Friday of that week. So like the first full week of every month. A public holiday may push it to the next Monday, but that's rare.

Hi Flo Finance! First time leaving a comment on here and I must say thank you for opening my eyes to investing. Because of you, I registered with a stockbrocker on Wednesday this week but was surprised to learn that the FGN bonds was expiring on Friday. And it was yesterday, Friday that my account with them scaked through.
I missed this month's FGN bonds but won't miss it next month. The stockbroker I used said I should put the money i wanted to use for FGN bonds this month into their bank Mutual fund to be earning something until next month's FGN investment. But my sister, I don't want to hear stories that will make me miss next month when they might delay releasing my money for FGN bonds.
God bless you for breaking down investment to toddler's level. Wish i could give you a million dollars, but in my own little way, I now rewatch your videos and make sure to allow all the adverts run fully each time. Thank you once again.
Mutual funds usually have a minimum-period investment clause which you must reach before you can pull out your money. Are they trying to say that their Mutual Funds minimum investment period is less than one month?
Use this waiting period to get a CSCS number so you are all set to invest next month. Tell your stockbroker to get a CSCS account for you in case they have not done so.

@@FloFinance yes, I thought as much that they want to lure me into getting their mutual funds. Thankfully, they have created a CSCS account for me and have sent me the details. They were actually quick on that one (took them between Wednesday and Friday). I'm ready for next month. Thank you so much once again.

Note: The last recapitalization was in 2004 by the then CBN governor Soludo from 2b naira to 25billion and it has a positive impact on the stock market then. Can we use this past case study to determine the current? Thanks.

FGN Bond Earnings Machine is a name I coined (I need to trademark that 😂) for FGN Bond consecutive monthly earnings instead of the usual quarterly earnings. Just like our brother says that he will subscribe for one year (12 consecutive months), when the payouts start coming in, it will be FGN Bonds earnings on steroids. As long as you don't exceed the maximum subscription amount, that should be fine. But why do you want to be using two brokers for the same investment? I don't see any benefit there. Why complicate your life like this, eh? 😂
