How many miles with your 2017 now? We are looking to buy one with same year? How is it holding up?
I also have the Sedona 2017 EX model, I have the sliding door issue where the right door does not lock all the way and requires a manual push for it to lock completely -- have you had this issue as well?

I have an 09 Kia Sedona with 227k on it. I realize it's a totally different van now though.
These are such minor issues loving this car so far
Two problems not mentioned here is the windshield washer motor is prone to crack and leak. The other issue is horn not working.
Fixed this with plastic jb weld still holding from last summer $10v$70 lol
Both of you are correct! I've experienced it myself!
Totally agree. Windhshield washer fluid drains superfast. Need to change the windshield pump motor to fix this.

I'm thinking about getting the '17 85k miles, glad you like yours..I heard with the GDI motors you can get alot of carbon build up though....

Lowest maintenance I've ever had on a car, it just keeps running!
Had a throttle go out at 110,000. Power door motor failure. Oil Pressure Sensor leaking. Fan assembly go out because of poor ground.
What year? I'm looking at a 2020 or 2021 and wanted to see if some of these common problems were addressed. Specifically, the sliding door motor and the soy based wire coverings (have a brother and sister-in-law where the car was practically ruined because of a rat that somehow got into their vehicle and chewed through everything; including their leather [granted, it was a Volvo... so they probably had a very desirable leather that they used in that vehicle]). Thanks!

Just a 2017 sedona. The owner told us it was a great running vehicle with a new battery and alternator. Drove for about 1hr and 30 mins and it died on us. Apparently it's a common issue then.
What was the issue??
how hard is it to change the fuel injectors? They are telling me 3 are bad and I need to replace all 6.
How many miles you have in your car? I watched a video, doesn't seem too hard for someone who is mechanical incline and have the right tools.
and all are minor- kia makes the best cars these days

How about gas smell?
I had a Honda Odyssey with almost 523 000km and no problems what so ever.... After 96000 KMS this piece of junk had oil all over the driveway and they wanted 1600$ to fix oil sensor switch witch had a recall in the US but not in Canada! They did the job with no cost. Kia Sedona 2016 . Full blooded Honda, Kia is completely junk yard material. Never ever again!
1600$ for an oil sensor switch? What a rip-off! They just changed it for free on mine.
You don't trash a car and a company because of a switch grow up.. Do you throw your kid away if he gets a bad grade?
I guess you never know...I have a 16 sedona 130k no issues ever....smooth best car I've ever owned! Only thing is the washer fluid leak...my wife has a 19 accord and the power windows stopped working...had a sensor go bad and a/c went out at 30k....I thought honda was the best? Crazy
