Kids these days would never know… my favorite memory was playing this game with my best friend at my house during a blizzard where we didn’t have school for the entire week
Those grey rainy days in 1996…just me sitting in my big shirt and undies..4 years old…just me, donkey Kong..and the water. 😢 miss the simplicity so much.
This song, Stickerbush Symphony, and Minecart Madness were basically the soundtrack to my childhood. Really cool to see someone enjoy a David Wise composition for the first time. Thanks!
Video-game composers are on another level of crafting. Some of my favorite music is from videogames. Games with music you can check out: - Chrono Trigger is one of my top favorite games holding my favorite soundtrack out of all media. Multiple tracks on there are sampled quite a bit - Jesper Kyd is one of my favorite composers who worked on some of my favorite games' music (Assassin's Creed series, the original Hitman series, and Freedom Fighters to name a few). - Bound By Flame was an indie game made by a very small group that had an AMAZING OST as well. There's so much great music out there, and videogames are for sure not lacking in any
@@wangchung2157 I checked out a little of the first one. Good taste 🙂 I know I'm going to be adding those to my playlists at some point soon. Thanks, dude
Normies really underestimate Donkey Kong Country and I don't know why. The music, the visuals, the environments, the characters, everything about the series is exceptional and it's a shame when people write it off.
I think it would be worth having her listen to more Donkey Kong Country music if she was skeptical about it, yet enjoyed this. The DKC games have a good number of emotional and captivating pieces of music (some of the best I've ever heard from any media). It's not at all what you would expect as a non-gamer who thinks of "Donkey Kong" from the outside without any knowledge of its sound. If nothing else, I would at least recommend DKC2 and Tropical Freeze's OSTs to pretty much anyone. Their scores are in a league of their own, and some of David Wise's best.
The way it plays and sounds gets me and when that part plays it l start to cry it gets me so emotion. She was brave with her nice smile and enjoying it listening to it. She seems to like the song .
This game looked absolutely phenomenal back when it was released. To be fair, there were quite a few SNES titles that had an amazing artstyle and presentation. DK is one of those iconic games. Hearing this just takes me back in time, lol. It's been a while since last I heard this. I can totally understand if people hearing this for the first time, now, aren't too impressed with it, but this is just such a typical SNES era track to me. We were still young then.
incredible how emulate the sounds like diving with snorkle, with music instruments, and all sounds like water, this soundtrack is one of my favorits of all time about video games.
When I tell you I stan for DKC music, you would think I'm just capping. I've listened to the series' music off and on since the 1st game which marks 30 years this year! For nearly 20 years I considered DKC2 to be the best out of them all til I listened to Tropical Freeze. Bruh, THAT to me is the greatest out of them all!!! David Wise to me, just doesn't get the credit he truly deserves
it hit different when u grew up on this lol that nostalgia will damn near kill u on top of how beautiful it already is
BROOOOOO!!! This song was the MOST relaxing music I’ve listen to when I was 7!
Man, I love Donkey Kong Country!
Think we might livestream a playthrough. Shes never played the games.
For real?!
I’ll turn on my notifications! Lol

I’m trying to get her to do more songs from the soundtrack.
Aquatic Ambience by David Wise, one of the most iconic music from Donkey Kong Country (SNES) game!! Great reaction!

David Wise ❤️
I love seeing her face go from skepticism to joy!
DK is one of my favourite video game series. The music is just outstanding. I recomment you 'stickerbush symphony' of donkey kong country 2.
That was next.
I made a synthwave remix for both songs in my channel, if you want to listen it!
. Eu escutei isso quando era criança, em 94! Enquanto jogava uma fase em um jogo de videogame, e isso me impactou muito!
I'm so happy you just enjoyed the song and didn't feel the need to blab throughout the video.

I've played this game so many times the music is now overplayed for me so I keep it turned down...I would describe it as entrancing!
I got lost my first time playing, so little me just vibed with the music
One more like, hoping you reach your 1000 like goal :)
Yahhh this & Railroad track best score in DKC 1..React to Stickerbush Symphony & Forest Interlude from DK2 !! DKC 2 Score Another Level 🔥🔥🔥

If you guys check out that song overdue by Travis Scott I'm pretty convinced it's this song they sampled lol

Do Dire, Dire Docks and Zora's Domain 64.
we need the continuation of the God of war series
Its already up for members. It drops later this week for non members
This song need to be listening on Mdma or LSD.
Beautiful song ever
Eww its the HD version its so damn sharp it hurts
Next time just listen to the original recordings. These remaster versions are trash...pitchy and poorly mixed.
