A Dragonbreak is when the event or the circumstances around it are so momentous they twist the laws of time and causality; timelines branch, then are crashed back together and twisted into an insane Gordian knot of ~every possible outcome occuring at once~. The entirety of reality enters a Schrodinger state that does not resolve even when observed. Judging from the trailer and what I've been told, the most likely setting for TES 6 is going to be High Rock, land of knights and druids. Personally, I kinda hope the map envelopes part of Hammerfell as well; the Redguards are some of the only people to _decisively_ kick the shit out of the Thalmor, so it would make sense to feature them if the Second Great War (or at least the events leading up to it) is an important plot-line. Also, I'm dying to see more Redguard stuff (it would be cool to meet the Ansei - "sword-saints" - and learn Yokudan blade arts from them or something like that). Maybe they could center the map around the Iliac Bay region like it was in Daggerfall (TES 2).

one point that was failed to be pointed out was that the Thalmor's entire invasion army was present in the Capital, Emperor Titus had effectively crippled the entire Thalmor military in a night, and brought the war to a complete halt, with the Dominions reserves running on fumes and the Imperial military struggling to stand on its own (with the exception of the nords) its with this information in mind that helps me realize why Hammerfell and Skyrim hated the emperor so much, fighting a defensive war to a standstill is by all accounts a victory for the defenders, and yet by end Titus had surrendered the very things to the thalmor that started the war in the first place, so not only was their way of life cut and stomped on, (which are very important to nords in particular), but it also ment that everyone who died protecting that way of life was for naught, despite them winning the war, to those that survived it was like the emperor spat in the face of the people who won him the war
Orcs: kicked in the balls so many times they learned honour and humility. Bosmer: Hippies that turn into cannibal berserkers if you mess with them or their trees, but chill otherwise. Dereni: Less racist Altmer that sleep with humans for fun.
15:30 I have to say this because it frustrates me to hear every time it's said. "Irregardless" is not a word, it's combining "Regardless" and "Irrespective" into one, and it is not a word itself. 100% of the time people say "Irregardless" they actually mean "regardless".
I have never played Skyrim. I have never watched any major gameplay of Skyrim. My knowledge of Skyrim is this: Dragons speak and magic happens, there are both werewolves AND werebears, there's a dragon that thinks because he was evil that makes him better than any inherently good races, there may be an evil dragon god of time (maybe), and a scene exists asking if you are awake that has been memed to Hell and back multiple times over. Now I also know they did their knife ears proper as they can be outside of Tolkien's works. Also: LOTS of NSFW mods.
In the next game the thalmor should just be hilariously evil like enclave in fallout 2 and 3. Just absurdly evil main bad guys and you should be able to inflict tonnes of war crimes during the course of campaign against em. Hell they basically are the elf version of enclave as they were set up in skyrim. Skyrim's natives should have honestly been retconned into being classic fantasy dwarves or atleast some those in some of skyrims holds. Because of all their history with knife ears i don't think anyone would have even minded cuz its the good kind of cliche
i will postulate my own question....If i'm not supposed to kill every Thalmor i see with such brutal malice that it makes the spirit of Pelinal Whitestrake crack a grin, why then is there armor the color of gold, my favorite metal? I know its moonstone that gives it the color and glow.....But still....That shiny is too tempting to not want to hang it on my wall of battle trophies....Preferably with the Thalmor who was wearing it still inhabiting the suit as a soul evacuated corpse.... I can't tell ya why but the sight of a dead Mer, mainly a thalmor, brings untold levels of joy to my soul....I'm sure bro Talos would agree, and probably Sheogorath.
THIS THIS IS WHY i always despite the community being agasint me sided with the STORMCLOAKS they will not bend or abide or allow the elven eich to spread not like the weak modern empire. Plus its really funny and somehow cool to actually be a ALTMER and do the stormcloak questline to see everyone go from ating your guts to being mystifed and in awe of you. its also be a cool canon way to have nords have more open midnedness to other species despite breaking free of the empire knowing they could prove themselves to be TRUE NORDS.
Too bad the whole rebellion is basically a Thalmor plot to weaken the empire before the next war. While they don't want the Stormcloaks to win, they aren't above rendering indirect aid to the Stormcloaks to ensure the continuation of the war.

its with this information in mind that helps me realize why Hammerfell and Skyrim hated the emperor so much, fighting a defensive war to a standstill is by all accounts a victory for the defenders, and yet by end Titus had surrendered the very things to the thalmor that started the war in the first place, so not only was their way of life cut and stomped on, (which are very important to nords in particular), but it also ment that everyone who died protecting that way of life was for naught, despite them winning the war, to those that survived it was like the emperor spat in the face of the people who won him the war
With this reaction you opened the door for tes lore that you will not be able to close
Orsimer, Bosmer, and Direnni: The Good Elves
Altmer, Dunmer, Ayleids, Sinestrel Elves, and Maormer: The Shit Elves
Orcs: kicked in the balls so many times they learned honour and humility.
Bosmer: Hippies that turn into cannibal berserkers if you mess with them or their trees, but chill otherwise.
Dereni: Less racist Altmer that sleep with humans for fun.
the dunmer arent as bad as the others. theyre just exremely racist also the dwemer definetly go in the shit elves category
6:27 Seriously, are the Thalmor actually based on the Nazis? Because this is sounding EXACTLY like how the Nazis rose to power.
Yes, yes they are
15:30 I have to say this because it frustrates me to hear every time it's said. "Irregardless" is not a word, it's combining "Regardless" and "Irrespective" into one, and it is not a word itself. 100% of the time people say "Irregardless" they actually mean "regardless".
The Thalmor are just typical prime elves. Serves them tight!!
Dunmer are still my favorite because they look cool second place goes to Bretons filthy lizards are nothing but farming tools
Fun fact after the seige of yuiag or whatever a total or 20,000 to 30,000 people were not taken as prisionors But canibalised. Goddamn I hate history
I mean you can already char-broil them with impunity and with no reason ever given why you shouldn't.
i will postulate my own question....If i'm not supposed to kill every Thalmor i see with such brutal malice that it makes the spirit of Pelinal Whitestrake crack a grin, why then is there armor the color of gold, my favorite metal? I know its moonstone that gives it the color and glow.....But still....That shiny is too tempting to not want to hang it on my wall of battle trophies....Preferably with the Thalmor who was wearing it still inhabiting the suit as a soul evacuated corpse.... I can't tell ya why but the sight of a dead Mer, mainly a thalmor, brings untold levels of joy to my soul....I'm sure bro Talos would agree, and probably Sheogorath.
I heard elves which I hate, and 8th legion which makes me happy.
Nah. Empire will destroy the thalmor in the second Great War after the rebellion is done with.
they gave up just as soon as cyrodil was invaded and that was when the thalmor didnt control elsewyr and the emperor wasnt assinated.
like if they set a game with that as the setting sure it could happen as anything can in elder scrolls via dragon break aka player choice.
@@jamesmccloud7535 but otherwise nah they shown there way too weak to beat the thalmor miltaryly they COULD have if they didnt sign the white gold.
but they did to save cyrdil over the rest of the empire leading to the elven reich getting ever closer to there dream of human eath camps.
like i dont think stormcloak skyrim is gonna be able to expand it borders or defeat the thalmor either they will at least act as a solid defense agasint them along with hammerfell.
@@jamesmccloud7535 How can the Empire destroy the Thalmor when they can so easily abandon Talos/Tiber Septim, the literal founder of the Empire? They don’t inspire a willingness to actually stand up against the Thalmor. And in a world where the gods and magic are real, how can they expect the boon of the gods if they so willingly disrespects them? Who’s next they will disrespect? Shor?
most elves i dont really care for but the thalmor i just hate
Don't worry boss I have plenty of elder scrolls Lore video in my Request Playlist wich has 758 videos on it
You should watch the fourth era explained by fudge muppet
When I play Skyrim I kill the Thalmor on sight 😂
Great video!
Im just saying, Pelinal Whitestrake still have job to do. Now if you excuse me I gotta go and tell that dunber girl in windhelm I do, in fact, hate her kind. I hope the next game has the second war as a main point, I don't care about whatever lame daedric prince is ploting, I just wanna end the Thalmor.
I'm not too knowledgeable about Elder Scrolls. I favor Fallout... which also has great fan loremasters. The Storyteller series and Oxhorn in particular come to mind, though I know there are others.
The elder scrolls is the only fictional universe I've seen where racism is correct (against elves)
You should definitely react to elder scrolls lore. Its so deep
Can someone please tell me why all the discord channels are closed, , I don't often use discord but I wanted to post a funny Warhammer meme I found.
fuck yes, elder scrolls
Whoa whoa pump the Breaks on the Elf hate bro. Its the ALTMER that are the Dicks. The others like the Orsimer, Dunmer, and Bosmer just wanna be left alone.
The dunmer were last nation that kept practicing slavery and they only abolished it after the Nerevarine killed/got rid of the Tribunal. That was the moment the Empire finally had them grabbed from their pubes.
Eh. The Dunmer are slavers, and explicitly worshippers of the Daedra. Granted, they worship the 'Good Daedra', but when you claim that the god of murder and plots is the patron god of your entire race...
It's not even the altmer it's just the thalmor
@ironic4910 that's a _long-ass_ time for any meaningful difference to survive on an archipelago that short of land...
@seand.g423 I just said that because I love the elves of elder scrolls in general, but the hatred I have for thalmor is the same as everyone else
