_"You ever kill so many elves with an axe that it gains a unique anti-elf enchantment?"_ -Ysgramor talking about his axe Wuuthrad, probably.

I mean Pelinal Whitestrake makes Ysgramor look like a chump though and that’s coming from me an avid Nord sympathiser.

And thus goes the tale of the only mer allowed into Sovngard, having been made an honourary Nord for their service.

I'd highly recommend his video on Pelinal Whitestrake. Best described as a man who hated Elves like Doomguy hates Demons.

Honestly I think he's closer to Guts than anything else

You were thinking of the Ayleids. Who were Tamriel's equivalent to the Dark Eldar...or at least what is said in historic Imperial documents. That account may be biased though...
Speaking of which. I both love and loathe elements of the lore from this series because there is amazing work with clever writing. Things are either ambiguous in a good way or has an unreliable narrator/biased account which leaves it up to the player to decide and believe what they want.
And then you have retconning like crazy from newer writers. Use of Dragonbreaks to cop out. And other annoying things.

Thank you. I could not remember for the unlife of me what they were called.
And yeah, dragon breaks being used to retcon things when it seems convenient. That kind of thing is annoying. Makes it harder for me to get invested if the lore gets rewritten too frequently.

No problem. Yeah. Or add in something that ruins it, like a PC taking Titus' place. I feel that a spin off involving The Great War would have been profitable idea. As much as I love the setting, and games. Some of the best lore stuff happened so far removed in the timeline.
Just so it's known. I love the Cyrodilic Empire, it's history, and love Imperials. So I freely admit I am biased concerning The Great War and the Stormcloak Rebellion...and yet I find the Redguards the most interesting Man culture. Dunmer for mer, though I'd love more Maormer stuff than just what bits we got in ESO.

Funny thing about this video... skyrim has never held my attention. At any point. Never played any of the games nor have I watched lets plays. The most I knew where argonians are lizards and khajit are cats with orcs existing in the setting. I couldn't tell you why it has never grabbed me. I simply hasn't.

Quite so. I apologise for the terrible audio quality during that period.
