OK Boss I'm really starting to worry that I'm a psycher. I thought to myself "Oh that a Stellaris tune." a second before you said it. Also speaking of Gaunts Ghosts I found an old Inferno magazine with the original story of the First and Only.
Guard is the closest to the heart. ❤ They are the best boys objectively. ... (even though for me the orky-borkies are my favorite 😅) Cadia stands, but Mordian remains unbroken! (glad to find another fellow Mordian Iron Guard fan!) I fully agree, the more lesser known regiments need more love. Which is why I quite enjoy the Doom Faith Humanity series, since yeah it has the staples present, but it also gives spotlight to some of the more obscure ones as well. I dearly hope you pick that series up after you finish When Day Breaks!
The answer to games workshop is probably the 3d printer sure the price for the 3D printer isn't going to be cheap but the price for the ability to mass produce models over a period of time for less than what GW is charging is probably worth the initial cost of the 3D printer and supplies.
Going trough CC novels currently but GG's are next on the list. I think one of the things PNW missed is that the IG is the most diverse faction in character types and stories told. Also my hope is that with dune coming back in the big way , that might inspire GW to bring back tallarn. They just fit in the universe so well, that and hell if you want diversity add a purchase option for all female or mixed guard infrantry sets, i know some ppl that would like that and they could hit that diversity checkbox as well.
My favourite guard regiment is the Elysium Drop Trooper's. They come from a civilized world in a well traversed trading warp route, so they deal with a lot of ship to ship boarding action with pirates of both human and alien. Becoming a drop trooper is optional, but must require a year or two of service in the planetary defense force first. Even one of there art worl is badass. With a drop trooper charging a chaos space marine with nothing but a las pistol and a grenade.
Man I so want to get an Astra Millitarum army going, but my pile of shame is big enough as it is. Luckily it seems that it means I can start collecting them once GW has rolled out more of their updates, fingers crossed for more regiments getting a kill team or models.
As varied as space marines can be they are overall very similar but the guard has such varied regiments. I love the guys from the first gaunt book that have a sort of advanced scale armour (don't remember their name) they can use their armour to camouflage or be better than normal armour.
The guard are like the unsc marines The every day person fighting aliens they can't hope to beat yet still putting up a hell of a fight only for the spartans/space marines to take all the credit
The thing with the Guard is, they may constantly be on the shit duties, they may be more accustomed to garrison work than active combat and glory, but well... as they always say. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.
The greatest power of the guard isn’t numbers, its redundancy you have redundant key units this will grate your opponents to no end. You dont show up with 1 psyker commisar and commander You show up with 3 each.
I actually like the sola auxilia i don't do like too much the guard but i love the auxilia the armor and guns were much much cooler (yes Fck much cooler)
Perhaps investing in a 3D printer might do well for the guardsmen
Got mine for 100 dollars, changed the screen 2 times due to overuse, 2 screens are cheaper than a leater of resin btw
Can you print fully built models with it? I don't want to have to glue them together.
@@DEFC0NZER0 you can always open the files up in a program and combine them

*presses the secret 'call the blackships' button*
*Secretly activates the super secret Alpha Legion beacon.*
$2,000... so like 5 units and maybe a tank off ebay.
I'd get the 3d printer.

Guard? I hear *Hellmarch*. Together, they are one.

wondering whether the ultramar auxilia follows the codex astartes or not
the midgardia pdf would have many battle-tanks of one type for certain
Question for the old man, dose tau taste more like fish, or more like beef or a goat?
Depends on which end that you eat.
Chicken. Because Tzeentch.

Personal favorite regiment is the jopal indentured squadrons, who are in fact canon, and basically the exact opposite of kriegers

Ya really need to make a video on the "Why the Tau Suck"
I'm halfway thru Gaunt's Ghost, and I came to the conclusion Ibram's a scammer.
Didn't pay Corbec a planet. >:(
Life hurts as a maccabian janissaries fan.
Ooooooh so thats why hes called pancreasnowork
There should be an imperial Air Force

Jopall😢
im saying it. Tau is the best race
My one problem with Pancreas is his massive anti-human hate boner.
Anti human? His favorite leader in Warhammer fantasy is Karl Franz.
And his favorite leader in 40k is Guiliman.
@@worldman3218 he constantly shits on human factions while sucking off elves, he's even self aware of it.
@@MrPikaGammerhumans are consistently his second favorite faction
