Best way is to judge is by having common sence, not just oh theres the jump 400-500 ft away lets go as fast as vehicle can possible go and never lift... 35-40mph im guessing would be the sweet spot

most are big blocks, this event kicks off about 11 am and runs until 5-6

Sometimes they can go for a weekend or just 1 day. Hp range. Up to 1000 believe it or not.. been to several of these.. it's a damn good loud time.

I am surprised that none are sporting larger diameter tires. Without that (and perhaps offset Unimog axles), the differential, locating arms, and tubular chassis are all being dragged through the mud WAY before the body is.
Were there rules which limited tire size?

@@HIGHOCTANEFILMS Thank for the reply. I had just seen a Russian off road vehicle (maybe it is a large top of the line Mercedes SUV?) fully tricked out for marsh and mud.. It's tires appear to be nearly 5 feet in diameter and easily 2 feet wide. It's not fast, but it damn near floats

While there are competitive events, this is about having fun. The larger the tires, the less wheel speed you will have. In thick drier mud like this, wheel speed and deep tread is key (hence so many tractor tires). Now if they were in a soupy marshy type bog, larger bogger/flotation tires might work better in terms of not getting stuck.

My boyfriend does this professionally and I've been to many thats way better then this one. So the statement made in the description is false. Best ones I've been to are in Alaska, Tennessee, Virginia and best absolute best is in Kentucky. The course there is a really challenging course and it gives the crowd more of a show. I just can't agree with the state saying this is the best. 😊

No the baddest bog is in Kentucky. Around the Daniel Boone National Forest and a small town called Monticello. THATS the real baddest in the country. This one was kinda boring actually. Very boring course is what I mean. Truth be told now that I think about it this isnt even in the top 5. Not trying to be an ass just stating facts. You may not have heard of the one in the southern part of KY because not just anybody can enter the event. Only top names get invited. So you get the best vehicles in the sport there. As far as I'm concerned Kentucky is home to the best mud bog event. Id go all the time if I didnt live 900 miles away...lol.
I LITERALLY just mentioned Kentucky. The one you're talking about near the Daniel Boone National Forest is my favorite one. Any idea why its do secretive and its only available to the bug wigs so to speak? You don't even get crowds there because they don't allow it. All feels like a secrete poker game kinda. Lol 😆 There has to be dig time betting goings-on there for it not to be open to the public. Only top drivers and their crew and families basically. Its just crazy to me because of how awesome to track is. I would've LOVED to have been to the one when Black Label Society played a show there. Zakk Wylde is one of my favorite guitarist. ❤
