I just had the pleasure of meeting, Daniel. He is one of the best, most honest and fair Adjusters I’ve ever met. Wish there were more out there like him. Hope to see you on the next one.
@kylejones3298 You are so Kind! I also appreciate great contractors that know their stuff, so we don't waste our time out there on questionable stuff. Glad to help and I hope to see you soon too! It was a pleasure!
Sir, thank you so much for the content. I am retired from the Army and looking to become an IA. One question, I live in Augusta GA (SCRA Area). Do all IAs deploy? Or are you able to work in a local areas? I would like to primarily work GA, SC, NC and Florida for example
@cornelius.anatole Good question! Thanks for watching! Sure, as far as deployments, you can choose which one you want to go on, and also, to whatever area. As a new adjuster, you may need to go to a desk adjuster or a field adjuster position, wherever they will have a War Room for assistance. Typically the firms will set up a War Room close to the center of the storm in a hotel etc., and be available to assist new adjusters when writing claims. All IAs don't deploy. Some need to stay home and handle the daily claims that still come in on a regular basis.
@Baljeet_benchod.007 I have handled everything that they have given me. I was selective on this CAT for which carrier I wanted to handle claims for. This did limit me on the crazy amount of claims I could have handled but I was more interested in quality for the insured.
