You can widen the throttle pedal/slider in the control settings by zooming on it It’s helpful to avoid sliding your thumb off the throttle P.S. never floor the gas while launching in 2WD cars unless they have under 300 hp. Usually just 15-25% throttle is enough to rev the engine up and get a good launch. Shift up into second (if the first gear is short), hold the handbrake if necessary (clutch pedal basically) then when you take off gradually increase the throttle. That’s it, this enough for good launch.(You’ll need the slider for this ofc)
Anthony Abreu pretty much the same way, maybe start from 3rd gear. Lower the final drive ratio too if you haven’t, then it’ll be harder to get your wheels spinning too much. Then you might not need to use the 3rd gear to launch
I made the first and second gear very long. Then i push 100%, shift at 65kmh into second. Then it goes slowly up to max rpm, because of "no grip". And then i get grip at 100kmh the RPM go 1000 lower and then i drive normaly. Is that a good lounch ? I think it is.
Dropping your tire pressure a little lower than the red bar should help. Setting a bit of camber might help as well. I'm using negative 2-2.5 in front and negative 0.8-1.5 on the rear depending on the car. You can also fiddle with brake balance a little, it allows you to brake later without sacrificing your corner entry control that much. Brake balance may not be very beneficial to some cars however.
I have just recently started playing and haven't had much experience with all the cars yet. With the one I primarily use now - an EVO IX - I get good results from this setup. I know, AWD. I'm usually around top 5-30 depending on my mastery of the track. 😊
Yea but if you wanna turn just a little farther than a normal turn you have to fucking do a 360 NOSCOPE with your phone or ipad or whatever tf your using to tilt
@@RainingDarkChocolate Yeah. it's kinda good and fun at first but for time attack and lots of things it's better to use other fwd or rwd cars with lower weight and power
If the ruf was upgraded you think it was the turbo that made the ruf so oversteery? Because whenever I put turbo upgrades on my car it always has trouble keeping itself straight
The better the turbo, the earlier it kicks in. The earlier it kicks in, the more power and torque you have in the lower rpms. Lower rpms - basically launches and cornering and with a lot of power it might be a bit tricky. So that’s where you want the slider - you can limit the power to retain the grip. And by the way, the Ruf itself is quite powerful so it’s easy to spin out in one even stock
Try not to mess with TC too much, depending on the car always go higher that 0.6 and always lower than 1.5. Invest in slicks and always put pressure all the way down to decrease the need for TC, in my opinion manual is sooo much better than automatic so definitely practice it. Throttle control and braking are basic skills so I won't go into that.
I haven't watched one of your vids in a while now but I am very happy with the advices. The one thing that you missed is the car tune:tires, diff and others. Anyway nice video
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I probably should've talked about tires and stuff but honestly I'm not sure about all that stuff, I just run slicks and call it good. Maybe when I gain some more knowledge I could make a more in depth video about that stuff, but for now I think this video is helpful enough.
Ok that is some useful information, but how do I set up my car? I just bought an FD RX-7 lowerd it to 6cm (no camber) and put some semi slicks on it and it still slips like a wet frog! I tried reducing PSI from 22 to 17 (idk seemd logic to me) and still nothing. The car is fully upgraded (max stage wheight reduction, rotors and turbo) but I have almost fully upgraded eclipse with same stuff except that i put a little bit of camber and it handles like a dream. The RX-7 is rear wheel drive unlike the eclipse witch has all wheel drive but i still don't get why it handles so bad. I am sorry that I wrote a bible
If it’s grippy enough in the rear you can try raising the tire pressure in the rear and keep the front pressure at the minimum. Also you can decrease the diff lock if you haven’t done that yet. Alternatively you could play with camber angles but tbh I’m not yet sure how that affects handling.

@@EdyAlbertoMSGT3 for beginners, 100% steering assist helps a lot for them to learn how should they entering corners properly for a better time attack on tracks
Gtrs understeer a lot, you can use stiffer roll bars on the front so it'll oversteer, but if you lose traction it'll break oversteer and make you spin out. It can also help to make weight reduction adjustments, as all GTRs are front heavy. But most of the time in a GTR you'll be running wide in corners, but with almost 1k hp max upgrades you can take the straights. Just mind the weight and how far your braking time is compared to, say, a Lotus. I have raced a 750hp exige on a unknown HP GTR R35 before, with its light body it has less braking time and with MR setup goes well in corners. The GTR cant keep up mostly due to weight and early braking time, yet with enough throttle control and suspension setup it can go toe to toe in a corner. Still, 4WDs are far more stable in corners compared to 2wds.
