With both G Gundam and Epyon being top tier mobile suits in most, if not all Gundam VS games that they're in. And don't get me wrong, I also love IJ not just in the animé but in the games and model kits as well. It's just that there are also great contenders in the melee department.
the backpacks of the Justice and Infinite Justice make no sense when the builders have access to the Freedom and Strike Freedom propulsion system. This is especially true when the Justice line was supposed to be the close quarters MS and was developed as a sister suit the the Freedom line. It makes no sense that the Freedom line, or the artillery MS, to have a more manoeuvrable and better propulsion system than the Jutice line which is your qcq MS
i feel justice is on par with freedom since it also has the himat mode. what really makes the backpack concept inferior is the implementation of voiture lumiere which was supposedly only unique to destiny. director fukuda randomly granted it to strike freedom because he thought the wings looked kinnda bad after dragoons detached…
No clue why they put the wings of light on the SF when its not a blitzer like IJ. Imagine if that was on Legend instead of Destiny. Thats how stupid that design was. I mean they couldnt have put a more powerful one on IJ? Also why change it to pink? His codename is Red Knight for a reason.
Gotta move fast enough to not get hit while beam spammin yo. And besides, the fatuum01 provides the ij enough mobility to match the destiny with wings of light active
@@Geozone117 All mobility excuses are stupid since Legend and Destiny are a great counter. 1) Destiny uses the VL and is a blitzer 2) Legend doesn't need VL Both pairs are of the same spec. 1 vanguard, 1 rearguard. 1 blitzer, 1 crowd control. Only the ones that are the blue, white and red gundams have the VL and it's stupid. It's just basically saying they're the main gundams so they get every cool thing. I mean IJ doesn't even have the anti ship beam cannon when it's made for a melee gundam like the Aegis and Abyss and was given to the SF instead Hell, even in terms of gunpla, the Destiny had gotten a metallic frame (when it shouldn't have one) while the IF is still stuck in that cruddy grey frame when it should have a white silvery metallic frame
You didnt talk about how the good guys Gundams have loud speakers that play Christmas music when they come to save someone.

Its a top tier for sure, but I think God Gundam and Epyion would be a tough fight for it.

Athrun has more interesting Gundams, and he's a much better character than Kira.

Would have preferred it to have a multi-phase cannon in the torso as well like the Strike Freedom & Abyss Gundam to boost its ranged arsenals.
