Same with me. I'm scheduled for the 4th of August. I hope it will be a good experience in contrast to the traumatic experience of the emergency c-section I had almost 8 years ago...
@@Beam1980 did your epidural fail? Mine did 3 years ago with my son. It was very traumatic. I’m having this little one the 2nd of august, so pretty much a week away and I’m super nervous. 😳
No, I already had a baby with a heart defect on the way and somehow it wasn't discovered that I had destational diabetes going on, too. So the CT-Scan (heart beat, I suppose) wasn't too great at my last appointment and the gynecologist sent me to the clinic right away and within the next hour I was in the OR and they told me, that she wouldn't have survived another hour inside of me... I had an epidural and it worked but she was a NICU-Baby for a month and later another 10 days at the cardiology department... Ending up with with her being a tube-fed baby for quite a while....
@@gladys764 They did use the same place this time. Everything went smoothly with it this time and except for some breastfeeding issues in the beginning we are doing great!
My C Section is in one week and this was one of the most helpful videos for packing a hospital bag for someone who has never had a baby before! I added the high waist undies you recommended to my amazon cart just now! Thank you for putting this out!
Thank you so much Ami. Among all the c-section videos that I ve watched, yours is so understandable and not complicated again. Thank you for a nice content video you put out here. Is my first pregnancy and I’m so nervous.
I'm having my third baby and repeat csection in July. I'm really hoping covid gets better not worse by then. I couldn't cope with my husband not being allowed to stay with me.
I love your baby journey I had a miscarriage back in January and am now pregnant 🤰 again this will be my 3rd baby I had my first in 2012 and my second in 2015 so I’m about 6 years not up to speed your videos are amazing!! Super informative! Love it! Thank you for sharing!
Hi am pregnant with my 3rd child . i found this week it was abit of a surprise. your video are helpful . it has been 6 years since my last pregnancy I have two girls my oldest is turning 11 years old on the 27th November and my second is 6 years old . I feel like a fish out of water already .
this is going to be my second c-section and i never had to pass stool before I could leave. My ob actually said it could take up to a week before you pass stool because your organs have to go back to normal.
Awesome video! I am scheduled for a csection on Wednesday and this helps relieve stress from not knowing how to prepare. Also what lipstick/lipgloss product are you using in this video!? I love the look and struggle to find good lipgloss products/brands. I like using the melted matte lipstick but I want something glossy now with more pigmentation.
Super helpful video.. I’m delivering in December and I’ve already added some of the things you recommended to my amazon cart.. all the best in you delivery💕
Thus is my first CS and it's been 24 YEARS since I gave a natural birth to my daughter who will be 25 yrs old in august but now I'm old and I am having a baby boy in 26 days. I'm not gonna lie. I'm terrified.
Just had my baby 7 days ago, I'm healing it is a slow process but it's not at all as bad as I thought it wld be. Make sure someone is there to help u so u can get some rest that part is more important than ever.
My frist bad was 5 days, and I watched a video on here and it said c-section are normal 4 to 5 days, but my grandma was like it’s only one night that was just the first time and it was because you needed a blood transition and I was like no because I watched a video that said 4-5 days and she told me then ask your doctor because I’m not staying 5 days with you
That’s so weird they let me breastfeed my baby right away well like a couple hours after she was born and I didn’t have any pain with her being on my incision
I’m 28 weeks pregnant with twin girls, baby a is breeches so I’m just researching as much as I can on csection just in case but the part when you said “take the catheter and then you’re able to shower”😳😩😭they better help me shower wipe me in my bed 🙄 if I do go in for a csection
They are gonna make you get up and move around, its for the best to avoid blood clots. I had one after a c section and almost died. Trust me, its gonna hurt but its necessary
@@WhiteRabbit89 absolutely correct blood clots are preventable if you are up walking and moving around.Glad you are ok but it’s seriously probably something most people don’t even think about.
Repeat c section momma in august, thank you for this! My first was an emergency c section so it’s nice to plan for the planned c section! ❤️

The binder was the BEST thing ever! It helped so much with the pain.

Having my 3rd baby at the end of march
Please let me know if it's true that the more c-sections you have the easier recovery in the entire process gets. Thank you.
Love your necklace.

So so good!!!

That’s so weird they let me breastfeed my baby right away well like a couple hours after she was born and I didn’t have any pain with her being on my incision
It kinda depends on the hospital and their policies some hospitals allow mama and baby to be together after baby is taken out to breastfeed and cuddle

I had a s-section I was able to feed my daughter right after
Love it all except you don't have to clean out your incision...? Never heard of that before
Hello good luck all the best to you and your baby love you
It was never painful to breastfeed for me? I was always told pain should never happen if it hurts to feed your baby you did it wrong
They never made me pass stool before i left...
It really depends on the hospital some hospitals prefer it
@@corpselizzy That’s crazy. I had an awful time trying to go, I didn’t go till a week after I left the hospital

I wore socks! The one with the grips

How old are you?
I'm 40 but I'm looking more than you
Tell me your secret 🤔
