Freddie was amazing . Even when his speed diminished last 4 or 5 years of his career , defensive backs still said he was one of the hardest receivers to cover . He had all kinds of moves which would make defensive backs slip especially on down and outs and down and ins about 10 to 20 yards in his twilight years . People put him down for his overuse of stickum grease on his hands . Actually the receivers catching gloves of today are even better at grasping a pass
