Why do the cards leave St louis?
It's a crime that Cliff Branch, a GAME changing WR, wasn't inducted into the Hall of Fame while he was alive. He deserved it more than swann or any other WR in History.
Jacob’s was a monster of the whole group.. period.. when you see 66 pull and provide the lead block..you understand why they got Riggins yards
This was one of the few highlights for the Broncos in 1988
Bullet Bob?..oh, yeah, sure..but..tha' groovy an' really boss backin' soundtrack?..tha' ginchiest, baby!
I remember watching that 103 yard return at Chi-Chi's on my sister's 10th birthday, October 4, 1992.
Yep Lt never really seemed to get Riggo. If Riggo could get a block LT was not effective.. I give it to Riggins over Lt… Old or not Riggins was a great runner and never gave up..
Caster was a great player Namath is a bum
Wow, what great memories. I remember every one of those plays , my dad and I never missed watching the Redskins. Darryl Green was uh-mazing!
This guy grew up playing kill the carrier
Better pocket awareness than most QBs even now.
I saw him play with the Red Raiders . I was a freshman at Colgate and he was a senior. Tom Parr had more recognition as a quarterback.
If Darrell was several inches taller i think he would have set the record for interceptions and deflections
Great DB!
One of my childhood heroes as an Eagles fan
I'll never get tired of Billy Johnson doing the funky chicken
One of the top 5 all time combos, hands down
Darrell Green chasing down Tony Dorsett is the best chase down.
Reminds me a lot of the Harrison Super Bowl INT
WHATR WHAT What a buncha horsht why would they show the slow moe 89 yard run. Slow motion was the dmbest thing ever. People go find that game and you will see King go 89 yards like Bo Jacksons Kingdome run and almost as fast. If Bo was a 4.1 then King was a 4.2. King was one of the fastest Raiders everrrrrr
Bullshit
Jocaby especially should have been in the hall of fame 20 years ago..
In high school, it was so cool watching him in any sport. At track, I'd watched him finish the 100-meter dash and turn around, and watch everyone else finish. I'm thankful I ran 800-meter plus races. Just saying! He was a talented individual and a tremendous guy!
A great leader - tough guy
maybe it’ll get ppl to remember the old school
He was simply great. Unanimous 1st team all-pro ('63-'68 - AFL had 5 all-pro sources at the time - but 6 in '68 plus 2 AFL/NFL teams) for 6 straight years! That's 33 all-pro teams and he was 1st team on all 33. Crazy. By contrast, Don Maynard (who is the other wide-receiver on the all AFL team and who was great and is deservedly in the HOF) had 3 1st team all-pros (1 in '68 and 2 in '69 - in '69 Alworth only had 8 1st teams).
What a combination!
This was, what I like to caall: "Blue-Collar Pro Football." I was a Rams fan way back then, and Gabriel was my absolute hero. I wasn't quarterback material, but as a lineman, I just loved the game, than. Now, I'm disgusted with the NFL and it's anti-American representation of itself. I've often said that if that's how they're going to be, they should tale the word National out of their name and the stars and stripes off of their logo, and just call themselves "the football league."
05:02 - I was so hyped after Mitchell returned that kickoff against Tampa Bay in the 1999 playoffs. The Redskins played the Bucs better than the eventual champion Rams that year. They had a 13-point lead in the 3rd quarter and let that slip away with defensive lapses and turnovers. They still had a chance to win at the end but botched the snap for a go-ahead field goal. Tough way to end the season and then Dan Snyder happened. When he chose not to re-sign Mitchell in the offseason and signed a washed-up Deion Sanders (among other past their prime players), I knew the Redskins wouldn't see the playoffs for a while. It hurt even more to see Mitchell sign with the division rival Eagles.
That’s my uncle bro
Green wasn't chasing Jerry Rice. He just ran over him on his way to wherever he was actually going.
Ali saddic
He should be in there a long time ago
👍🏻My All Time Three Favorite Pro🏉QB's 1.Steve Bartkowski,2. Joe Montana & 3.Brett Favre👌
The greatest open field runner!
Even at this present time he is one of the best quarterbacks in history
I cant believe their new name isn't ........." Hogs "
Fred is from my hometown of Erie PA. Tech Highschool football field is named after him
Man did I love those years!! I can name all the players on the Cowboys then. Danny White is one of my all time favorite QB's. And he even punted!! What a talent.
Back in the 60s my father had ground level seats in the old Yankee stadium. Saw many plays where the QB chucked the ball as far as he could, as it came down you could see the hands go up and then the Ref would put his hands up for a TD.
Stabler should have never won a Super Bowl. That bogus roughing the passer call against New England is the only reason he won 1.
If he had a record that took over 20 years to break. Had just as comparable stats as Ditka, and so on. One of the best of his era. We probably know why he's not in Canton.
He could play today.
Dave Butz was a beast who didn't have to use steroids. He was just naturally a power house. He was an American legend.
His all purpose yardage is insane! I knew he could do it all but if you add up returns, runs and receiving he has A TON of all purpose yards and should be in the Hall Of Fame, period.
One of the very best cornerbacks all time!
Bob bullet Hayes was the fastest of all time in cinder track..can you imagine what he would have done with a synthetic rubber track of today...Bob Hayes always
I will never understood why the Big Red traded Pat Fischer. Just another stupid personnel move by Bill Bidwell trying to save $1,000.00 and losing millions. Could you imagine him and Roger Wehrli in the same defensive backfield. Wehrli as the shutdown DB and Fischer delivering the bone crushing hits. Where is the QB gonna throw?
I wish Johnny Unitas would’ve been healthy for Super Bowl three.
Great Video! Travesty that Hes NOT in the HOF!
