I absolutely love John. I almost fainted when I saw him pick up an iPad because he just makes every video seem like it’s from the 80s. I always love the vibe of his videos.
Never ever ever ever ever take off with additional passengers without doing a new weight and balance. Look up the NTSB report for N1762J, a nice flying club Piper Cherokee that I once flew in with one of the co-owners. Pilot in a hurry takes on 3 large passengers for a joyride, doesn't do W&B, crashes on takeoff, and from what I heard from the co-owner friend, one of the rear seat passengers was still over 300 pounds after burning. I love how John is playing the part of the nervous private pilot student on checkride day. Well done! He and Martha helped me get my IFR rating with their videos.
If not for John and Martha’s original video series, I highly doubt I would have earned my PPL in the timely manner that I did 22 years ago … and I dare say, that without them making every aspect of obtaining a PPL/ground school subject matter and more, amazingly so easy to understand, comprehend and remember, I may not have ever become an FAA Licensed Pilot! I cannot say enough good about this amazing aviation couple and their contributions to the aviation community as a whole! I highly suggest their Pilot instructional series of videos to any and all that want to become a pilot or further their ratings!!

Very close to scheduling my own oral and practical and I can say that the kings courses are great! We are actually flying using the kings syllabus as well. I got an 87% on my written (and arguably didn’t study enough) through casual use of their ground videos.
John you are a brand new private pilot. With or with out eddie avoid high altittude 8000ft. low experience you may run into high traffic at Class B or traffic flying towards class A. With experience overtime fly into these airspace.

I’m gonna guess that taking off on 5 instead of 23 didn’t help matters, considering the quartering tailwind.
