I have a strange lore idea. Dead End. Drop Out. Cutie Chaser. All connected as one story. The guy yelling at the beginning of Drop Out is yelling at the Cutie Chaser (will be referred to as “Dog”) as she killed someone with that gun she used to have (reason for the bullet holes and blood), and she reaches a Dead End, a brick wall. This theory would explain the Drop Out guy yelling, as well as the Dead End jacket. Hell, it even explains those police siren sounds, but not those tornado siren sounds.
Ah yes, before Possession and before Beachside Bunny, there was Drop Out, the ORIGINAL jump spam chart lol. Still one of my fave charts. And the Double Expert chart makes an EXCELLENT chart to freestyle to if you can look at the chart in a different light. Originally called Drop Out because by old school standards, by the time you got through that jump spam, you wanted to "drop out" lol. Fun times. Don't mind me; just a First-gen DDR Boomer reminiscing on the good old days. 😊

How you can have an 8th note 260 bpm run and get away with being rated 13 and not be questioned by anyone, including myself, on why its a 14, is amazing.
@@anthonydargan1459 Yeah. The jumps can be intimidating, but they flow well, and the ending run is really simple as long as you remember to start on your left foot. The rest of the chart is easy. Pretty solid 13 IMO
the difficulty is too inconsistent for it to be a 14. the jump spam, death run, and the techy triplets before the death run are all 14-caliber, but everything else doesn’t get any harder than an 11

Those were the days when players don’t hold the safety bar behind. Many “9 feet” songs are really difficult to get SS without holding the safety bars back then.

But also yes, Drop Out was the boss song that predates MAX 300. It was the last boss song before freeze/holds were introduced, which wasn't until 6th Mix where MAX 300 made its debut. Before Drop Out, the boss songs were from the Paranoia series songs.

It’s not stamina draining enough to be honest. I don’t even think it’s a hard 13
