Don't understand what you tried to showcase here. This is a great car. No USP at all? Build quality, Stance, Safety, Look, Great driving dynamics, Sufficient features, Japanese first time right product, Great after sales service, Reliability, Long long tested engine that performs better than turbo shit, Great suspension, Comfort, Excellent AC, Perfect SUV, Bonnet View when driving... Above all, it is Honda. People are realising and it is selling very well.
No of things missing in the car:- 1.) No 360° camera 2.) No radar based adas 3.) Some glossy finishes could have been added on the exterior 4.) No ventilated seats its a complete bummer 5.) Less cupholders and no sunglass holder 6.) Panaromic sunroof should have been added 7.) Not a great looking instrumental cluster 8.) No rear usb charging(damm even a Baleno offers type c and normal charging at the rear) 9.) Leather used on the dash quite great but why the hell such cheap quality plastic at the upper portion 10.) Music system/ sound quality just the worst in the segment for sure..
This will be a hard sell for honda, customers are gonna flock to korean rivals just for the VFM tag. If Elevate gets 5 star in GNCAP, that could be the game changer.

It should be priced cheaper than Creta as it doesn't get any features. Atleast they should have given good brand speakers. Door opening lever handles looks cheap too. I hope they have branded speakers , front parking sensors , 360 camera as an accessory option. I was expecting a civic ,accord kind of Interiors. No offense to fanbois. This is just my opinion.

Was waiting for your first impressions vid. Honda certainly needs to price this agressively with a introductory starting price of around or a hair under the 10L mark to make any serious impact in the market. Just a few months wait and we'd probably have the Creta's facelift equipped with ADAS eating up the sales of what I think is gonna be Elevate's USP. Three years since Hyundai's launch of the 2nd Gen Creta, Honda still playing catch up that too with less features(and what could be seen from the YT vids less cabin space too) bar the ADAS. I hope they have a real USP to be hoping to beat the Hyundai/Kia siblings.

Loved the car exteriors very sharp and aggressive, but the boot design is very poor, middle seat on back is could have been better. Also front dashboard is very cool. But would have been more cool if it has had the electronic parking brake. I also agree dashboard kind of similar to Compass, front remind me of hector and back remind of Kia. Good design overall and fresh design from Honda after a long time. They should not have gone with cost cutting like no engine cover, no fuel tank guard, cheap interior plastic, not so good display ( for user interface). At first I liked the car looking at it but when gone through the details, it looks like the same cost cutting measures applied here like Maruti Suzuki.... Really great review is such a short time.👍👍👍
After taking so much time, it turned out to be a copy of Seltos and bit of Magnite. Where are the features to compete in this segment? Even maruti is giving panaromic sunroof in Grand vitara. No ventilated seats, no panaromic sunroof, no turbo variant, no hybrid, no electric seat adjustment, no height adjustable seatbelts, no type C usb in rear, this car seem late by atleast 5 years. City is superior in many aspects especially Hybrid !
Dont expect more than 4 star for this 🤣 beacuse its based one city platform which scored 4 stars with unstable bodyshell. So if u want safety go for german twins they have 5 star safety for adult and child with robust structure 🔥

If this is decently Priced, and they add features like rear & Dash cam camera, Rear Sensors, Rear Glass wipers, Blind Spot indicator, CVT Engine and Decent Mileage and a 5 Star ENCAP rating, then i bet this car will beat the competition and be the best vehicle in its segment's. HONDA needs to show it can do it.
I own a WR-V, which surprisingly never became that big a success despite being such a fine car! But Elevate is so much inspired from WR-V and because most people haven't seen much of WR-V, so there is chance that Elevate will become a success which WR-V couldn't!

A proper suv feel. Front is straight butch. That massive grill makes it look bigger than it is. 😊 17 inches tires and 215 section is welcome touch. New touchscreen. Not over or under-designed. Rear floor almost flat is good. Trunk space is awesome for the size. Dimensions are also good. Overall design is evergreen type. Will not diminish with time. Honda reliability and is having a butter smooth engine and gearbox Rear design is also suv inspired and creates good road presence. 220 ground clearance Butch look This car is the easiest choice for those who want a good car from a decent manufacturer. Sure it misses on ultra creature comfort gimmicks. But Honda knows it and they have decided it to be launched like that iska target audience alag hai. anyone who wants a practical car for just point A to B can go for it. Ab sabhi ko 3 ya 2 star ki Global NCAP rating to nahi chahiye na. Based on Indian city’s 4 star platform. And no car is 100% complete jisme sab mile. So yes for a little less you get a good car. No more creta seltos sheep heards that say ohhh is me panoramic sunroof nahi hai. Unka irada hi ek hota hai ki sunroof se bahar latak ke khade hona aur accident ko dawat dena. So yes this car dam makes sense.

2:44 Panaromic sunroof is really most senseless feature for India. I think it should be kept as optional by all car companies. Just imagine you parked your car somewhere and some random thing fall on roof or some animal like a monkey jumped on your roof from some tree or wall....sunroof in Scorpio n or elevate actually make more sense
I think despite the high ground clearance it is a pure urban suv I don't know but Honda always gives me the feeling of a sophisticated and urban car Not meant to take on rough roads or on mountains
I really really really wanted to like this car. I just don't think it's the "Creta killer" they're hoping for it to be. It looks like just another mid-sized SUV, unfortunately. With the new Seltos being announced soon, I don't think this car will do anywhere near the numbers that people think it will. Sure, it'll sell because it's a Honda and it's just a City SUV, but this was their chance to elevate the segment (ironically). No Panoramic roof, no ventilated seats, No hybrid or turbo engine options, and running a CVT in 2023 is whack imo. I'm aware that Honda possibly makes the best CVTs but a good DCT is far better than the best CVT. It's not a bad car by any means. I think it'll still be decent to drive, and easy to own. I guess it's my own fault for expecting more.
The design elements are all straight and upright. I still feel that in spite of so much hype for years together about the next gen SUV from Honda and all, this is no where near to the competing leaders : Advantages of Creta/Seltos : Interiors and brand loyalty Multiple engine options including petrol (both NA & turbo) and diesel Advantages of Grand Vitara : Interiors and Maruti trust and reach Multiple options like Hybrid engine with class leading efficiency All Grip tech with class leading 4X4 abilities with a good ground clearance of 210mm I don't know if they will be able to maybe aggressively price at atleast at the launch to attract those Honda loyalists. Let us wait and watch.

I would test drive to experience it. But a Honda badge alone is not enough to convince me, not when there are better cars in the space it will compete it
Have seen 5 videos since morning but was eagerly waiting for yours! It was a make or break for Honda this time. They couldn't have matched 1.5L turbo performance certainly so the only area was to play with features. Should have given ADAS Level 2, 360* Camera, Ventilated Seats (come on Honda!) at the very least. Panaromic Sunroof would have been cheery on the cake. With this list it would have ticked everything off in the features list at-least. Honda City's engine is kind of decent everyone knows that but these features on top of that would have been great! Then price it from 12-17 lac ex-showroom to compete with all other C-SUVs out there in that price range. Being a Honda City owner since 15yr now (looking for a new car to buy), I was really looking forward to Elevate to really ELEVATE the bar, but, it failed for me personally.

Good design overall and fresh design from Honda after a long time.
They should not have gone with cost cutting like no engine cover, no fuel tank guard, cheap interior plastic, not so good display ( for user interface).
At first I liked the car looking at it but when gone through the details, it looks like the same cost cutting measures applied here like Maruti Suzuki....

After taking so much time, it turned out to be a copy of Seltos and bit of Magnite. Where are the features to compete in this segment? Even maruti is giving panaromic sunroof in Grand vitara. No ventilated seats, no panaromic sunroof, no turbo variant, no hybrid, no electric seat adjustment, no height adjustable seatbelts, no type C usb in rear, this car seem late by atleast 5 years. City is superior in many aspects especially Hybrid !
Will choose this over the creta just for the safety factor.

Dont expect more than 4 star for this 🤣 beacuse its based one city platform which scored 4 stars with unstable bodyshell. So if u want safety go for german twins they have 5 star safety for adult and child with robust structure 🔥

If this is decently Priced, and they add features like rear & Dash cam camera, Rear Sensors, Rear Glass wipers, Blind Spot indicator, CVT Engine and Decent Mileage and a 5 Star ENCAP rating, then i bet this car will beat the competition and be the best vehicle in its segment's. HONDA needs to show it can do it.
I own a WR-V, which surprisingly never became that big a success despite being such a fine car! But Elevate is so much inspired from WR-V and because most people haven't seen much of WR-V, so there is chance that Elevate will become a success which WR-V couldn't!

Honda should consider acquiring the Ford EcoSport and replacing its engine with the i-VTEC engine, as it would be a great combination.
Why though? Ecosport 1.5L naturally aspirated is already a better engine lol. (Ecosport is my daily driver).

Point of View from a perspective buyer looking for a CVT in a budget:
V CVT - Base model for Automatic It comes with bare minimum features. (There are no alloys in V variant on offer - This is the first time that they have not given Alloys in V variant)
VX CVT - (There is no Cruise Control in this model and Rear Armrest is also missing in VX) Come on Honda this is 2nd top end model.
Tell me one Car in Indian market (apart from Elevate) which is sold for 18 lakhs onroad and does not have Cruise Control?
This might compete against the upcoming xuv 300 face-lift, although this one is more fuel effeient still many may go for a turbo engine, if the prices aren't aggressive then this may affect sales, plus really wish if they had mentioned something upon the hybrid model.

But Honda knows it and they have decided it to be launched like that iska target audience alag hai. anyone who wants a practical car for just point A to B can go for it.
Ab sabhi ko 3 ya 2 star ki Global NCAP rating to nahi chahiye na. Based on Indian city’s 4 star platform. And no car is 100% complete jisme sab mile. So yes for a little less you get a good car. No more creta seltos sheep heards that say ohhh is me panoramic sunroof nahi hai. Unka irada hi ek hota hai ki sunroof se bahar latak ke khade hona aur accident ko dawat dena. So yes this car dam makes sense.

I really really really wanted to like this car. I just don't think it's the "Creta killer" they're hoping for it to be. It looks like just another mid-sized SUV, unfortunately. With the new Seltos being announced soon, I don't think this car will do anywhere near the numbers that people think it will. Sure, it'll sell because it's a Honda and it's just a City SUV, but this was their chance to elevate the segment (ironically). No Panoramic roof, no ventilated seats, No hybrid or turbo engine options, and running a CVT in 2023 is whack imo. I'm aware that Honda possibly makes the best CVTs but a good DCT is far better than the best CVT.
It's not a bad car by any means. I think it'll still be decent to drive, and easy to own. I guess it's my own fault for expecting more.

The design elements are all straight and upright. I still feel that in spite of so much hype for years together about the next gen SUV from Honda and all, this is no where near to the competing leaders :

Advantages of Grand Vitara :
Interiors and Maruti trust and reach
Multiple options like Hybrid engine with class leading efficiency
All Grip tech with class leading 4X4 abilities with a good ground clearance of 210mm
I don't know if they will be able to maybe aggressively price at atleast at the launch to attract those Honda loyalists.

Have seen 5 videos since morning but was eagerly waiting for yours!
It was a make or break for Honda this time. They couldn't have matched 1.5L turbo performance certainly so the only area was to play with features. Should have given ADAS Level 2, 360* Camera, Ventilated Seats (come on Honda!) at the very least. Panaromic Sunroof would have been cheery on the cake. With this list it would have ticked everything off in the features list at-least. Honda City's engine is kind of decent everyone knows that but these features on top of that would have been great!
Then price it from 12-17 lac ex-showroom to compete with all other C-SUVs out there in that price range. Being a Honda City owner since 15yr now (looking for a new car to buy), I was really looking forward to Elevate to really ELEVATE the bar, but, it failed for me personally.
