Flying Scotsman Centenary 1923 to 2023 - (No. 60103) on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway

To mark the centenary of the famous Flying Scotsman Locomotive entering traffic on the 24/02/1923 we have a short clip of Scotsman visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway back in 2016 when it returned to traffic after major overhaul.
The world-famous steam locomotive entered service on February 24, 1923 as it set off on its first journey from the sheds at Doncaster Works.
The locomotive will spend the rest of 2023 travelling across the country to allow as many people as possible to see it in its 100th anniversary year.

It's March 19 2016 on the clip. As Scott comes along the track smoke and steam are going everywhere! How anyone can think that those hideous deflectors are of any use at all is quite beyond my comprehension!!!!
