My two cents: The Walrus Audio Slöer is a stereo reverb pedal specialized in creating lush ambient reverbs, wide textures, and long, dreamy soundscapes. I found it particularly useful for big hall and shimmer reverbs (including the dark variation with an octave down), though it wouldn't be my first choice for subtle, small-room sounds. Although it's well-built and sounds great, I found its sonic palette somewhat limited given the price point. I’d recommend it to those looking specifically for that kind of sound. ▶ Subscribe: th-cam.com/users/limbicbits ▶ Purchase Link Walrus Audio SLÖER* (Thomann): www.thomann.de/intl/walrus_audio_sloeer_ambient_reverb_black.htm?offid=1&affid=397 ▶ Purchase Link Roland SH-01a* (EU / Thomann): www.thomann.de/intl/roland_sh_01a_gray.htm?offid=1&affid=397 ▶ Purchase Link Roland SH-01a* (USA / Perfect Circuit): t1p.de/roland-sh01a ▶ Purchase Link Twisted Electrons MEGAfm*: www.thomann.de/intl/twisted_electrons_megafm_mkii.htm?offid=1&affid=397 ▶ Purchase Link Colors Sound Pack for SH-01a: limbicbits.com/roland-sh-01a-patches-for-ambient-techno-and-deep-house/ ▶ Purchase Link MEGAfm Sound Pack for MEGAfm: limbicbits.com/twisted-electrons-megafm-patches-for-techno-and-ambient-magnitude-sound-pack/ ▶ Book "Electronic Music Production": limbicbits.com/book-electronic-music-production/ ▶ Online shop with Patch Banks for Ambient, Techno, IDM and Electronica: limbicbits.com ▶ Follow me on Facebook: facebook.com/presetsforsynths/ ▶ Follow me on Instagram: instagram.com/limbicbits
Your pinned comment is exactly right. It does a particular thing (or set of related things) and it does it extremely well. Perfect for atmosphere and ambience. If you need “normal” reverbs this is not it.

Its nice to be in a world where reverbs are so abundant that manufacturers need to make them wildly different in order to stand out. From Dark World to Nightverb (current fave) to pladask Draum to this and a bunch of others. Crazy amount of choices. So many that I have stopped getting them as even in the weird reverby pedal land they are starting to cross over each other.
@@limbicbits Well I guess you'll just have to brew with it and give it the old sniff/taste test. I just bought a house, and the former owner had several vines planted but they didn't do so well this summer. Almost dead.

💯 agreed. It's good to be able to choose but sometimes, the amount of available choices can be overwhelming,.
What a Combo , nice sounds.
Nice demo! But you left out the most important information ... what varietal of hops is that? 😁
I wish I could but that one was growing wild

@@emdotambient It was growing close to a sidewalk where people let their dogs do their dog-business. So I better pass on that one 😂.
@@limbicbits 🎶Watch out where the huskies doo
And do not use that hops for brew!🎶
