I'm a synth fiddler myself and bought the Empress Zoia used (but could honestly been right of the production line) for the current value of 335 UK Pound. Although I've read the ghostverb is a scaled down version from the Empress Reverb I just love that one. Tnx for this very nice review of the Reverb. Have a nice day!

That sounds like a great deal, always wanted the Zoia but it looks like it would take me a while to learn. Can get some crazy results with it though.

​@@AlfonsoMuchachoYeah, the effects are really good and the generative stuff you can make with it is super fun as well. I've just had it for a week so I've just scratched on the surface, but making simple effect chains is super simple.

Source Audio Collide pedal is really good for the price (I think about $379). It’s reverb and delay. The one you present sounds like it has a few extra tricks though. Then there’s the equally or more expensive, but also deep and interesting ones like Eventide, Strymon, Hologram Microcosm, etc.

Got one in 2021 for guitar and I’m very pleased with it. Sounds great. Plenty of variation. It also looks very pretty, which is a bonus.

I would like to get this, but I am trying to improve as a musician, and I spent way too much time in reverb land. I'm speaking only for myself, of course

Yeah I know what you mean, everything sounds better with reverb on it so it’s tempting to just drench everything.
I try to use reverb on only one or two elements in the mix and reach for delay more often. But getting the balance right is tricky.

Just buy a meris mercury x. It sounds ethereal and can mimic the in my opinion, only good reverb on the Empress that the zoia doesn't have, and I have a zoia too to fill in the blanks for anything my meris lvx, tensor, and gen loss mk2 can't do.
Return that pedal lmao.
