- Baby gorilla Sumomo was on the passageway between the enclosure and indoors with a tree branch in her mouth.
Suddenly Sumomo got excited and danced. She often enjoys playing by herself.
Silverback Haoko came near by female Momoko to gaze at her.
Haoko loves Momoko so much that he often comes to her but he knows Momoko would leave if he tries to come too close.

Haoko: Silverback born on August 21, 1993.
Momoko: Female born on June 3, 1983.

Komomo: Female born on November 14, 2009.
Momoka: Female born on April 24, 2013.

上野動物園の赤ちゃんゴリラスモモが室内と放飼場の間の通路にひとりでいました。
木の枝をくわえながら、急にテンションが上がったスモモは起き上がり、一瞬踊りました。
その前にもアスファルトをポコポコ叩いたりと、スモモはよくひとりで遊んでいます。
シルバーバックのハオコがモモコの近くに来て見つめていました。ハオコは愛妻家でよくモモコの近くに来ますが、近づきすぎるとモモコが移動して離れていくことを知っているからか、絶妙な距離感から見つめることが多いです。
Poor Haoyo ! His wife doesn’t want to mate with him anymore, the same problem with his brother Shabani . That is the problem putting young silverbacks with old females

I Love you Haoko family.❤❤ Something has to change in the laws or regulations in Japan because these female gorillas need males to have their own families or they could do something with the global organizations that care for rehabilitate gorillas and then release them. It is sad to see such negligence.😢😢
