Baby gorilla Sumomo sticks to her mom Momoko even when napping 🦍🦍💤 | Gorilla Haoko Family

Filmed in April 2023, at Ueno Zoo (Tokyo).
Baby gorilla Sumomo was taken care of her mother Momoko.
When Sumomo is taking a nap beside Momoko, Momoko started moving.
Although she is sleeping, Sumomo tried to continue to stick to Momoko.
The baby gorilla loves her so much 🦍🦍💤

Oh you should’ve seen it. He walked into the observation area and when he turned around Sumomo was clinging to his abdomen. He sat there for a few moments and then shook her off to go to Komomo. It was a very sweet Haoko. I’m sorry I can’t find the link.

Sumomo knows her Mom and good old Momoko has so much experience with child-rearing she is calm and quiet and Sumomo needs that sometimes with her loving but inexperienced siblings.

Haoko is the only one that cleans any dirt off the eggplant(?) before eating it. So tidy! Lol Sumomo looked AH-DORABLE hanging on for dear life trying to sleep. Sweet baby girl! ❤🦍❤

I love how Haoko wipes the eggplants and bites the stalk off before he pops them in his mouth. 😄 Momoko certainly seems to have her appetite back, which is great to see. Baby Sumomo is sooooo sleepy - it must be hard work being adored by everybody❣❣

Jullie video s zijn geweldig! ♥ Ik vind Momoko niet zo een geweldige moeder want zeg nu zelf, het is toch helemaal niet leuk hoe ze Sumomo achter zich AAN SLEEPT terwijl ze ZO MOE is dat ze wel gaat vallen! Ze loopt ook de hele dag maar rond en gaat maar juist zitten om te eten, en valt Sumomo dan al in slaap, dan staat zij op en weer kan het kleintje NIET SLAPEN!
