Hi Charity, great content! I believe we need to be matchmakers for the children we bring into this world, no doubt about it... we need to care about leaving children an inheritance. Period. In this "anything goes" society, children need a foundation based on convictions deeply rooted in the Bible teachings, fellowship, stewardship, and work ethic for the heralding of Christ's Return. That's why we're on this earth... glorify God through your LIFE.

@@janelle5127 when studying on the 7th Day Sabbath-the Lord gave this command in the garden of Eden after He gave marriage to Adam & Eve. Then He blessed, hallowed and rested on the Sabbath day. Then again the Lord gave the Children of Israel the 10 commandments-He spoke them in the hearing of His voice and and also wrote the laws on 2 tablets of stone (thus they are permanent). Christ went into the temple and read the scrolls on the Sabbath. He died on Friday and remained in the tomb-resting as Lord of the Sabbath after completing His work on the Cross. He rose on the 1st day of the week Sunday. The apostles kept the Sabbath-no where has the Lord changed the Sabbath to Sunday. The change of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday was was given by Constantine-when he converted to Christianity-Rome used this new wave of religion to cause the people to wander after man and not the Lord by keeping Sunday (an intermingled worship of the Sun/Paganism and Christianity. God says *if you LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.* Sis, if they (churches, pastors and the people) speak not the law and the testimony there is *NO LIGHT IN THEM*. The Law being the 10 commandments and the testimony (OLD & NEW) BOOKS of the bible-both testify of Jesus Christ. I hope you see this message. Many are in the fallen Churches... COME OUT OF THE-the Lord is calling you! The daughters (1st Day churches) of the woman riding on the beast in the book of Revelation. Charity, I made an observation on the last video. Concerning this issue of marriage.
Channels like yours put pressure on single women despite being well meaning.
It seems like it’s always women praying for and wanting husbands.
A lot of women will appreciate a male perspective. Perhaps your husband? Is he open to speaking from his point of view?

    • @MrsCharityUmar
      @MrsCharityUmar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey there,
The marriage content is in no way to put "pressure" on single women. I share because I have a deep desire for women to know Christ and to live intentionally as He leads them especially in their singleness to prevent unnecessary heart ache.
Prayer is meant for all believers. I usually share female related content so I can understand how it may come across as 'one way.' The fact is that the single women have to do their part in praying and allow the Lord to lead them to praying young men.
I understand that it would be good to hear my husband's perspective on the topic to have a more balanced approach. At the right time :).

      Hello there,
Quite an interesting dilemma there. I would encourage you to pray that the Lord will speak regarding both men and be on the look out for His voice.
Next, many a times, the Devil fights against God's will. It's good to have the same understanding on biblical doctrines. You definitely don't want a visionless man. It could be that the first guy is God's will for you but the enemy is trying to frustrate you through the rejection of Him by your parents.
If the Lord has spoken positively about that guy hold on to the word of God about him and continue to pray for your parents, the Lord WILL make a way if he is His will for you in marriage.

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5
Being ‘good’ does not take anyone to heaven. Being born again grants entry into heaven.

      @@MrsCharityUmar
      Thanks so much for responding.
So, being born again by baptism AND Spirit is what allows one into God's heavenly kingdom. Jesus Christ was first baptized in water and then holy spirit, which the latter had to occur, since a fleshly body cannot enter into heaven. But not all Christians get the baptism by Spirit, so that they can go to heaven. My understanding of the Scriptures is that when someone dies, he/she either goes to heaven, or remains in the grave until the resurrection. The Bible says that there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.
      Acts 24:15
“And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.”
The Bible also says the the meek/righteous ones would inherit the earth/land and live on it forever in peace, with no sickness, deaths war, etc.
      Psalms 37:29
“The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.”
So, it's clear to me that some people will go to heaven, where God's heavenly kingdom is, but others will be resurrected to everlasting life on peaceful earth.
Interestingly, before Jesus, no humans who died could have entered heaven (also under the Mosaic Law, the Holy of Holies). Only Jesus Christ' sacrificial death could open the way for a resurrection of the dead to heaven, which means that Moses, Abraham and others who died before Jesus will be among those resurrected to earthly life.
At his last meal, Jesus told his apostles that he was going to prepare a place for them in heaven (John 14:1-31).
      John 3:13
“And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”
Before Jesus, worshippers of the true God were under the Law Covenant/Mosaic Law, which in many ways foreshadowed the coming of the Christ, such as a high priest who sacrificed animals to atone for the sins of the people, but Jesus as a perfect man, died once for our sins, which no animal sacrifice could accomplish, and that's why the priest had to keep sacrificing animals, among other responsibilities (Colossians 2:14).
We are no longer under the Mosaic law, which was given to ancient Israel, because the Christ came and fulfilled that Law. That's why followers and worshippers of God are no longer called Jews/Israelites, but Christians, and we pray to God, through Jesus Christ, who is our mediator. Also, Jesus instructed his disciples to teach and baptize people of ALL nations (Matt 28:19). I believe Cornelius was the first non-circumcised non-Jew to be baptized as a Christian and received holy spirit (Acts 10:34, 44, 45).
      Roman's10:4;Jeremiah 31: 32-34; Hebrews 9:15; John 13:34,35; Matt:22:36-40.
I know this is a long comment, but here was so much to cover.

      @@MrsCharityUmar
Thanks again for responding, since I know that you're busy.
I first clicked on your channel to get hair and fashion tips and then was impressed by your belief in God.
      Another long one:
Well, Jesus did say that some humans who die would go to heaven and some would be resurrected to live on earth.
Before his sacrifice, there was no resurrection to eternal life in heaven or on earth. Jesus and his apostles resurrected some from the dead, as one way to show that he was indeed the Messiah, but they eventually died again, so it was not permanent.
As I said before, animal sacrifices could not give us what Jesus' sacrificial death gave us, which is forgiveness of our sins, a heavenly resurrection and a resurrection to everlasting life on a "new" earth in the future. Adam was a perfect human who took away everlasting life on earth from his descendants, so it had to be another perfect human who could give it back to us (a corresponding ransom) and no perfect human descended from Adam.
      Psalms 49:7
“None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:”
      Romans 5:12
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
      Romans 5:19
“For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
      Romans 5:18
“Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”
      1 Peter 1:3
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”
      1 Peter 1:4
“To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,”
      Philippians 3:14
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
The Bible also says that the earth will not be destroyed, only the wicked, as it was in Noah's time when the earth was so full of wickedness that God saw fit to destroy all living on it, except for Noah, his family and pairs of animals who would repopulate the earth.
The Bible prophesized that there will be another destruction soon (1 Timothy 3: 1-4), and unlike in Noah's time, it will usher in a "new" earth where there will be no more death and suffering, which only happen on earth, not in heaven.
      Revelation 21:4
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
You see, it was never God's purpose for us to die, suffer and live in a wicked world. So, in the Bible he laid out his way of restoring what Adam and Eve took away from us: the opportunity for everlasting life on earth for many humans.
      2 Peter 3:13
“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
      Psalms 37:29
“The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.”
      Ecclesiastes 1:4
“One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.”
      Isaiah 45:18
“For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.”
When God made our first parents, he placed them on the earth, not in heaven. Prior to that, he had made the angels, including Jesus, and placed them in heaven where he lives. So, the earth is our home, and God's purpose was for perfect humans to live on earth forever (Psalms 115:16 “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.”)
Prior to Jesus coming to earth and dying, there was no way for humans to pray to God for forgiveness of our sins, hence the high priests had to continually make offerings, or sacrifices, to atone for his sins and the sins of the people (Leviticus Chapter 7 and Leviticus 5: 5-7).

      True.
When God condemned Adam and Eve to death, he told them that they were going back to the same place they came from--dust. He never said that they would be going to a place of torment where they would be alive and suffering. One cannot be alive and dead at the same time. When Lazarus died, he didn't go to a place of torment. He was in the grave until Jesus resurrected him. So were all the others in the Bible who died and were resurrected by Jesus and his disciples, even Jesus Christ was in the grave/hell/sheol.
      Acts 2:31
“He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.”
The word "hell" is actually (Hades in Greek and Sheol in Hebrew) means the grave, not a place of eternal torment.
When the Bible speaks of the wicked being punished by fire, fire is symbolic of complete destruction (as in Gehenna)with no chance of ever coming back to life/being resurrected. I believe Adam and Eve and Judas Iscariot, among many others, are in this category. Groups of people, as those who died in the Great Flood and in Sodom and Gomorrah received judgment directly from God's, so they also would not be resurrected. They are as when you take a piece of paper and set it afire.

Sista, I ADMIRE your channel HOWEVER, YOU DO NOT KNOW THE BIBLE AND YOU DO NOT KNOW CHRIST! "CHRISTIANITY" IS NOT OF THE TRUE LIVING GOD NOR CHRIST.
CHRIST NEVER SPOKE OF "CHRISTIANITY" NOR "to be a CHRISTIAN" CHRIST SAID, "KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS" TO ISRAEL, HIS PEOPLE NOT THE WORLD. CHRIST taught the TORAH TO HIS PEOPLE and to fulfill that which was said of HIM by GODs Prophets.
ACTS 11:26 And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. MAN came up with the terms "christian & christianity" and IT WAS NOT A GOOD THING. THE TERM "CHRISTIAN" WAS TO IDENTIFY WHO WAS ISRAEL so they could be destroyed. AND CHRISTIANITY CAME IN TIMES OF SLAVERY USED TO OPPRESS, INDOCTRINATE AND DESTROY GOD'S PEOPLE "ISRAEL" AND TODAY MONETARY GAIN (AS IN TIMES OF OLD). Shalom
