    ✨Hi. Flaky scalp is usually more than likely an allergy to sugar and bread, chips, pop, etc. Yeast overload builds up inside your body, takes over your scalp, causes big flakes. Most of us were not designed to consume so much sugar. It's like having a yeast overgrowth on your head, basically. Sorry TMI, but just thought it might help someone who's tried "everything". It's your diet.✨

      Regarding your scalp: do you apply oil? Excessive external oil application can also lead to dry itchy scalp. Have you been using a new product?

    hey charity! I’m a new nurse that wears scrub skirts at work. a lot of people look at me funny I feel like. can u pls give me some advice or do a video on how to feel confident while wearing a skirts when others r so used to pants?? thank u!

    • @MrsCharityUmar
      @MrsCharityUmar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey there,
      That’s interesting. Before I started nursing school, I thought that I would HAVE to wear pant scrubs because that was all I saw in the nursing profession.
      Then the Lord opened my eyes to see a Jewish nurse wearing a skirt scrub one day and that produced confidence in me that when I began nursing school, I would also wear skirt scrubs.
      Since then, I have never worn scrub pants and the Lord has always favored me to continue to wear scrub skirts for all my nursing jobs without exception.
      The fact is that people will always have something to say or stare oddly at something seemingly “unfamiliar “ to them.
      But one has to be firm about their stand on modesty and not allow the comments or looks of others to dampen/discourage their conviction.
      Know who you are dressing for and it’s purpose and keep that at the forefront. Be the exception! Be different! Stand out! Pray for confidence in your chosen path to please the Lord in your work uniform.
      Don’t give up! Someone is watching you and admiring you! You never know that you’re an encouragement to someone else. Stand your ground and be the hands and feet of Jesus as you carry out your duties as a nurse!
      Congratulations on your nursing journey! I pray the grace of God will abound for you to do your job safely, accurately and gracefully. God bless you.

      Try fenugreek powder. I use it in my homemade blk soap shampoo as well as I use it as a spritz. I just mix it in water and use it. Try not to mix to much mix the amount you need to use at that point it time. My breakage has been so minimal since I started using fenugreek.

      Hey!
      Which tips have you tried for breakage? Also, at what point do you see the most breakage?

    • @Michelle-pn9xt
      @Michelle-pn9xt 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Are you eating healthy foods such as green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, nuts, eggs, fish, and whole grain foods? Are you anemic? If you are you may need to take iron or b-12 vitamins to supplement your diet. If your hair is shedding, use a conditioner that contains garlic. Add garlic and onions to your meals. Check the moisture and protein balance of you hair. Protein overload can cause breakage. Too much vitamin a may cause hair loss. Always check the amount of vitamin A in your vitamins. B-complex vitamins are great for hair growth.

      First, find out your porosity. Do you have low, normal, or high porosity? You need to either add moisture or protein. My hair broke off because I used too much protein. So learn protein moisture balance. Shampoo, deep condition, and seal. Grease has helped me retain my hair.

  • @DoZion_1

    Umm..., May I Know your hair porosity? I mean, are you high, low or medium?

    • @MrsCharityUmar
