Ultra boost 22 while being more expensive has way more quality. I have the 39 and the rubber is coming loose on one of the toes and it is really wearing after 6 weeks of use. I have the UB22 for 7 months and they are

Ultraboost 22 is the best boost model on its own and is an all-day everyday shoe.
But Nike Pegasus 38 is the OG for the average runner. It is a complete package for a running shoe.
Great review, I just bought the peg 39 ekiden version for 69(145 original mrp) US dollars, and i am a forefoot striker as well.
The ekiden colourway is crazyyy
I think that me and any compettitive runner I have ever met would take the 39s over the Adidas any day, thats because they are actually designed for running, but I definatly would not wear the 39s for everyday walking around.

Well yeah the Pegasus line is one of the best shoes in the running world not for casually walking around(it’s still good at that too) but it is made for running

I prefer the boost
I had Nike ZoomX Invincible Run (1) - after about 1000km on treadmill and 300 outside (sidewalk - smooth surface) ZoomX outsole just broke and started ripping apart. Before tried UB21 (absolutely one of worst adidas shoes I had on foot), but I gave a chance to UB22 after I got my money back for ZoomX's - and I was absolutely astonished - UB22 are perfect - NOTHING like UB21, even though those look almost the same. Now after 2000km on treadmill and something around 400km outside those look almost like new ones. Bought 3 pairs 🤣 Now I use UB22 at work, on workouts and casually.
Most shoes become dead after 650km 💀
@@jstimpy9856 You're absolutely right, but shockingly Nike literally ripped apart (since ZoomX is incredibly weak material) while Adidas did not - looks absolutely as new (only less springy and yellowish on boost).

@@eloniichan69although I use Ultraboost every day I run/walk to be completely honest I use at work Adidas Pureboost Jet and Pureboost 22 - these feels not so "responsive" - in the meaning that Ultraboost 22 are like a walking-device - you put one step and those just wants you to put next one - in the way that they give you responsiveness and "springiness". Some people say that NMD S1 are good to "stand in" in the meaning of not moving much but just feel comfortable. My shoes nowadays are mostly UB22 (3rd pair, have still 2 waiting to wear when this 3rd one will broke), Free Hiker GTX both Mid and Low (extremely comfortable, but not really warm - need to use merino wool socks). And for warm days Adidas Terrex Speed Ultra (not Pro) - here I needed to go one size up. Good luck mate with buying shoes.
I can also recommend you Vomero 16 and newest Vomero 17 - few of my friends are extremely happy with those - I stick to UB22 though.
Some people use Hoka shoes - I would avoid those to be honest. Those are kinda cushioned but responsiveness (even in Bondi X with carbon plate) is rather non existent. Cheers mate
Thought I bought the wrong shoes the realized you were comparing a $180 pair the the Peg39 that I got for $80……..

pegasus is way more comfortable, ultraboost is heavy and too narrow which makes it very uncomfortable, just my opinion

Ub22 for everyday walking, and for casual running/ jogging (as he stated). Peg 39 if you're somewhat of a serious runner, don't really recommend it for everyday walking. Peg 39 is faster than the ub22 in terms of running, because of the bounce, energy return, and it's lightweight. The ub22 would most likely last you a bit longer than the peg 39 (personally, I don't find an issue on walking with running shoes, but most people and runners do). Stability is quite important walking or casually running, so the Ub22 is better for stability, meaning it is safer for everyday walking. Peg 39 is cheaper than the ub22. I would recommend the ub22 for you since you're a casual jogger and work for long hours on foot. Personally, I would go for the peg 39 since I'm more focused on running, but would definitely go for the ub22 for everyday walking.

They run true to size, I think it's a great choice for casual wear. The only drawback is if it rains, you'll be in a bit of trouble, your feet will get wet. I would say consider the ultraboost 5.0 for even more of a comfort fit for school. Though it will still have the rain issue unless you buy the one with gore Tex

Boost all day. Those pegasus 39 suck. They should bring back those pegsus 35 zoom turbos, thiercthe one with the pinkish red line in the middle they were the best
Do not buy the ultra boost for running. It's way too heavy. Read any review by professional runners and they will tell you the same.
Ultraboost is much heavier...
I am a runner who have had both shoes and prefer the Boost for comfort but would never wear it to actually run. The Peg is the one I take out on the road.
