Please like, comment, and share:) INGREDIENTS: 160 g all-purpose flour 200 g granulated sugar 2 tablespoons zest of orange 50 g cocoa powder ½ teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt 120 g sour cream at room temperature 120 g orange juice at room temperature 75 g oil 2 large eggs at room temperature 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract ORANGE CHOCOLATE BUTTERCREAM: 160 g orange dark chocolate 30 g heavy cream 30 g orange juice 290 g powdered sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 150 g Unsalted butter cool at room temperature 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract FILLING AND DECORATION: 12 teaspoon orange jam 1 orange, sliced and cut into quarters INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Preheat the oven to 160ºC 320F 2. In a large bowl, add all of the dry ingredients including the orange zest 3. Give it a stir, and make sure everything is combined 4. In a separate bowl, mix all the wet ingredients 5. Mix until all the wet ingredients are combined 6. pour the wet ingredients into the dry while stirring it all together 7. Make sure there are no lumps 8. Divide the cake batter into the 12 cupcake liners 9. bake for 20-25 minutes until the toothpick is clean 10. Let the cupcakes cool in the hot pan gently remove the cupcakes from the cupcake pan and let them cool down completely Let's make the cream: Chocolate: 1. Melt the orange dark chocolate 2. Add the heavy cream to the chocolate 3. Melt the chocolate in the microwave, check, and mix every 30 seconds 4. add the orange juice while stirring it into the melted chocolate Buttercream: 5. in a clean bowl 6. Sift the powdered sugar and cocoa powder and set it aside 7. In a clean bowl cream the room temperature butter for 4 min 8. Add the melted orange dark chocolate and mix it in until combined 9. Add the vanilla the sifted powdered sugar, and cocoa powder in 3 portions 10. Mix on low speed 11. Transfer the buttercream to a piping bag ( I used 2D Wilton) 12. Use the end of a piping tip to dig out the core of the cupcakes 13. Add the (any) orange jam in the middle of the cupcake 14. Pipe the buttercream on the cupcakes. 15. Decorate with Orange slices
