175 horsepower in a $43k compact SUV is ridiculous, I would’ve at least hoped it came with a V6 or any kind of upgraded engine. It’s a beauty though, and a great review as always Will!
Had one as a rental in Utah last week. Was surprised at the power it has. Small 4 with a turbo is better than a v6. More torque down low. Drive one and you’ll be surprised
1.5 turbo sounds pretty weak. You can get a similarity equipped Mazda CX-5 turbo actually for the same price or maybe even a little less. Or the CX-50, might be slightly more. Probably will last twice as long. This is a nice looking, fully loaded SUV tho. Really love the color too. Awesome review as always!
As an owner of a gmc terrain... i will say these trucks are way too heavy for anything other that a v6.. when i test drove one that wasn't a v6 , i could tell immediately that it was struggling and that was fresh off the lot. I can't imagine how it would drive years in. Overall love my truck. .. it's been a great vehicle to me but glad i refused to settle for the smaller engine
The engine choice is a joke. I have a 2020 Terrain with the 2.0 turbo engine with 252 h.p. and it’ll walk away from that new Terrain. I traded a 2016 Terrain SLT with the 3.6 V6 301 h.p. which had really good acceleration and I would say my 2.0 litre Terrain is as quick. I feel GM screwed up on down sizing of the engine IMO.
The wife and I had been car shopping for well over a month before we decided on the GMC Terrain Denali.
So far, we love it. Couldn't ask for more.
Could ask for a v6
Does it remote start from the key fab only or can you start it remotely from a phone app?

No reason the 3.6L wasn’t out in there.
Exactly!!!
No more V6. They are now focused on electric and need to get rid of the 4 cylinders on the shelves.
You r ridiculous

Amazing review bro.
Love the design and interior and color , but a v6 engine would suit the vehicle just right.to complete it.?
The AWD system is pretty good too, but I feel the six-speed transmission in the Equinox will be more reliable.
The “refresh” of this for 2025 is *amazing*
This is very very beautiful though 🧏🏻♂️
Insane new GMC Terrain Denali SUV to own.
No it’s not. It’s slow and overpriced.
It’s not slow. My Prius is slow. These aren’t fast by any means but fast enough I feel.
My mum just bought the exact one except in silver. Not sure why we need to rev the engin. I’d understand if it’s a Cadillac V or corvette ❤️
I like the v6 engine they sound insane custom

You’ll get wheel spin for sure from a stop but that’s as far as the power goes
Mazda is better quality and way better reliability.
Will GMC ever update this thing?
I know 😂 all other cheaper vehicles have bigger displays
if you want the bigger center screen wait for the 2025 Terrain that is coming this fall and it looks great.
Great video I have the same car, and I love it
Nice catch that it's missing the auto rain sensing. That's odd that a 2016 Yukon Denali has that and not a GMC Denali 8 years newer.
I don’t see adaptive cruise or I’m missing something?
Yes. The Denali has adaptive cruise with three distance settings. Actualy high beams as well. Unfortunately no rain sensing wipers.
@@IRQ1Conflictits not hard to flick wipers..
Which is better, GMC Terrain or Chevy Equinox?
GMC, hands down.
It is similar to the equinox & the Buick envision
Hah I live in Brooksville and just bought a Terrain from this dealership. Tiny world.
Prices
"The steering feels really good" doesn't tell us anything about the steering. Is it heavy, light, high ratio, low ratio, etc?

It's lighter than a hybrid Accord.
Yikes! What's with the small screens and horrible interior?
1.5L is too small for this vehicle. Should come with 2.0 minimum. I have a 2020 with a 2.0 and won't buy another one with that puny 1.5.
MacGyver Summit

What's with GM putting these weak engines in these huge vehicles? First the Buick Envista, NOW this. 🤦🏾♂️
GM is on a budget. Inflation killed them.
This is a compact crossover an the 1.5T has enough power.
@@trenton737 It’s a throw away vehicle. It’s a profit grab for GM.
Good suv better the 2025.
Seats suck. thin
way overpriced
True. Should be 26k

@@ryanb8736 The Denali should be 26k? How would you price the lower trims.
