Completely agree. Been watching since the start of the wales trip and seeing Carol’s confidence grow is really nice too see. Lovely couple keep up the brilliant work
The day to day stuff at the beginning of this vlog...why is it that we’re all so fascinated by other folk’ ordinary rituals?! Love it!! Thanks again for such great content, you guys are such a great team! ❤️🐚
I really like these travel vlogs where people behave and do the things they like, rather than what others will like. The soft gentle delivery is also a winner for me.
Great filming including drone, & editing. Reminds me of our times in our split window VW kombi in the 70's, never using camp sites. The Aberdaron car park is of course National Trust, free to members otherwise £9 for full day, & doesn't allow overnight camping. I know it well and you'd probably get away with it in the small far overflow area where you were if discreet, and there are ablutions on the left by the entrance.
Another tip - there are unmarked but totally legitimate public conveniences in Aberdaron at the Gwesty Ty Newydd pub/hotel without having to enter (a deal they struck with the council in exchange for permission for the rear balcony terrace) - door is at the side off the slipway and it's immediately on right.
I agree. If you like something someone has done or cooked, let them know, face to face. You could see how happy the burger man was. I do the same, makes everyone's day a little happier!!
So are we saying that's a second 'infinity pool' discovered? Woo hoo 😉 - just kidding They actually look like some form of hydro-break to slow the run off of water? Enjoying the vlog as we're just about to get a campervan ourselves (deposit paid) and can't wait. Really useful hints and tips from you both 👍 Thank you 😊
I really enjoy travelling with you it’s almost like I am in the van with you going along the roads.and the drone shots give a good view of the area. I also like that you show things like doing the shopping, stocking the van and filling the water tank the things that you normally do when on holiday. Thank you for sharing your adventures
Hi there, another great video, they have been good right from the start, but now they are outstanding. Cracking job by Carol in this one. You obviously put a lot of time into editing.
The Pringles hunt, like a naughty boy 😂. I thought it was great how you took the time to feed back your food appreciation to Urban Eats. I always look forward to seeing what you'll be eating as well as the beautiful places you visit. And Go Carol! as she headed off to tour the house and provided some lovely voice over 👍👍
Good selection of fat pills (doughnuts). Love the stonework on the older structures. Looks like you got a nice sunny day. As usual great drone shots. You should contract to the tourist agencies. Great tour of the estate. Loved the narrator. Stay safe. Have fun.
Carol, you did an excellent job of filming and narrating, well done! This was a lovely lovely video. It was restful and you just can’t beat the scenery! Take care you two, Mary
Really enjoying watching your travels through Wales, I'm revisiting all the places I used to go to when I lived there.. you both do a marvelous job of sharing your time with us all thank you 😊
The episode Jane was looking forward so you made her evening. As a child she used to visit Uncle Franks cottage the larger white one as you come in opposite the church. Drone shot showed it well. He has long gone but they used to be there listening to the waves at night. Loved the video and well done Carol on the narration loved the gardens we have been debating as to if we join the national trust. Loved Ken you getting caught out crisp hunting. As ever a lovely pace we both commented ours are manic lol
Hello Ken and Carol just did a double 22 and 23 fantastic as always I even have my 93 years Mum watching and enjoying your videos hahahaha she said that Ken he loves his food doesn't he :) it was funny because both those videos did contain a lot of really good food fish and chips donuts all the stuff I love . Again love the drone shots and the music , we really loved Carol's part the garden tour of the manor house what a beautiful place. Thanks again wonderful stuff. Take care Shaun.
The so called "infinity pool" is the one that everybody goes too and raves about in Llanberis pass. It was created by the local farmer for some reason (Can't remember why) and has been in the local news paper about the amount of people that visit it. I spotted this too in your vlog, but didn't comment. There's a few youtube videos about it.
We have seen a couple of TH-cam videos of people finding the secret infinity pool. It wasn’t hidden very well as we accidentally flew over it with the drone 😁
A super video, It's great that you video everything like going into the super market and getting fuel, you would think that would be boring but it adds to the whole scenario. Perhaps too many carbs though in your treats like cakes from Lidl's eh?
Great vlog Ken and Carol. Great narration from Carol well done. Be sure your sins find you out Ken looking for a crafty pringle while the wifes away doing all the hard work. Thanks for sharing.
Ahoy Pirates! Bikes never disappoint! Agree with Ken on riding without any traffic is best! Carol is too badass not to find a place for everything from the Isle of Lidl. XD Gorgeous views again, thanks, folks! Had too much fun watching! Now that I'm back in Budapest, I got requests from showing more of my hometown. Stay tuned! Aye! .) The road leading to Plas Yn Rhiw across small towns after the van's leaving the Esso station is joyful with your selection of background music big white boat, the white cloud cap, blue curve coast, excellent. BTW, nice cheeseburger tells us everybody can make thing better if we focus it on.
Lovely journey and your daily activities 👍 The home you visited was gorgeous and well done with all the beautiful footage and narration Carol, great history of the place and area. Ken you couldn’t play poker..the redness in your face being caught trying to find the pringles 😂😂😂 You two are so funny together!! Another wonderful journey with you, Thank you!
Lovely video again and it was great to hear Carol's guided tour with beautiful filming. Thank you also for the drone shots, they are stunning and it's always so interesting viewing from above x
Beautiful aerial video. I follow wee broon van as well. They too have good videos. I say cheers to his bit of whiskey. Enjoyed carols narrative. Very nice!
The look on Ken fac e when caught red hand trying to steal the crisps was priceless. Very well done Carol that was brilliant . We now have two bloggers for the price of one.
always luv the videos there the best, beautiful seaside town , you always make me hungry 😋 the views and scenery are the best as well. I don't think I would stay where you are parked with the swearing printed there. stay safe.
Carol your doing a great job with the camera .my time will come in a few years lol .I just can't wait to to start our journey it will mean so much to me to get our memories on film 😁
Just started watching and vlogs very interesting. Impressed with the current van, food tips, how you manage in a small space and all the wild camping. Top vlogging! Keep it up 👍🏼
Another lovely vlog guys. Ken you make us laugh with your tasty audible foodometer. That burger was the highest level of mm-mmm we have ever heard from you. Donuts looked good to. Nice to see Carol’s but about the NT place. Thank you.
Plas in Rhiw used to be described by the NT as a Tudor farmhouse and give an explanation of why Tudor buildings are not Timber framed as in the Southern Counties of England. Of course as in any era buildings are constructed using the materials most readily available in the area. The disabled parking used to be through those two great big rugged " gateposts " and my LWB Transit only fitted through with the wing mirrors retracted. I was fairly used to that, if you get up around Bisley and France Lynch on the Cotswold edge there are a good few places on the roads where you can scrape your mirror housings if you are not paying attention. Very nice to see and hear Carol's contribution in this one, very professional I think. You'll be done out of a job if you're not careful Ken. 🤔😁. The buns looked good too.
Great episode, lovely piece from Carol, if it ever goes wrong you can always leave it on the cutting room floor! Like Ken I loved riding big touring bikes, got my IAM badge, not interested these bays, too much baggage (3 children) and too many nutters on the road. It only takes one, some of the riding skills I see these days leave a lot to be desired. Now where did I leave those Pringles? 😂
Ah you did get to Aberdaron. You were parked up just in front of where I was in that car park. I did actually stay the night here without any bother at all. I did ask the car park attendant first. I was told I might get a note on the windscreen in the morning, but I didn’t. Ps Busted Ken on your Pringle hunt! Cant be many places to hide them in the van! Ha ha
Really great footage...the drone adds that little extra. Just a thought during your editing could there be a possibility to just do a pause in film running to see the road signs...Bob Earnshaw drops this in and it's interesting to see exactly the route taken. Hope you don't mind the suggestion. All the best your lovely people 🥰.
Loved the house and garden tour.. You two tasting those buns made me hungry so now Im eating a bar of chocolate!! Can you eat some salad next time? LOL
Another good vid and you got Carols bum in the shot and a cheeky pat on the bum in the last vid...lol Keep up the great vids Ken and Carol, really enjoying them, would love a wee NV200, now weres that winning ticket. Take care guys, look forward to the next one
Nice one. I live in Pwllheli. The carpark in Aberdaron as you know, was National Trust. It's almost impossible to find anywhere that's both legal, and free to park these days. Thanks for your lovely videos.
I do love watching your adventures. Iv just come back from a lovely 4 days in Wales, I just don’t know how you cope for so long in a small space. it’s just me and my dog in my van and I always seem to feel like I need more space. It gets so untidy quickly. Need a new system I think haha. Enjoy your travels.
@@LifeistooshortCK that always helps if you get on haha. Which you pair do get on brilliant. I do think containers to stack in my cupboards would help me be more organised. I do like things neat and tidy haha. Looking forward to watching your next video.
We’re loving watching your videos around wales… if you should travel inland towards Powis Castle a really lovely place to visit is Dingle gardens, a privately owned little paradise!
I keep going to Scotland because I love it and, I'm in Northumberland so it's close but the more I see of you and Nic Roams (few weeks ago) in Wales it's making me feel I should venture further south next time I'm travelling. I get the impression it might be quieter than the NC 500 I was going to do but, I also still want to go to Isle of Arran and Skye. Dilemmas, Dilemmas 🤷♂️
All that work I have put in over the years to try to get burgers to stay together, when making them. If only I had known about smashed burgers, I could have told people they were 'Smashed Burgers' & not bothered about it.
Not yummy but, "delis" lol 😁😋 Lovely to see Carol getting her filming wings. Go Carol. (thanks Ken for getting back to me earlier about the fridge vent, much appreciated). Bernie's just said a literal cliff hanger
Another great video, Ken and Carol. Looks like your going to lose your camera man job here Ken. Well done Carol, cant be easy doing that sort of thing on your own. Drone footage brill. Look forward to the next. Ken biking is great with or without traffic, you'll have to get that RD 250 back!! Andy.
Ken, I believe there is a new 650 model coming next year I'd wait for that to compare the two. The 400's are a little gutless, although I have seen very good review about this bike. A lot of bike for a little money. But bigger is almost always better and will serve you in spades for two up riding. Keep the videos coming, look forward to the next. Andy.
Nice video here again. Lovely places you have visited. Mal asks me to see if you live in your van on a full time basis? We liked the music and it fitted the video very nicely. How long have you been married as well ? Just curious. Anyways, all the best from Mal, Dave and Sally the Lab aka The SilvertopMotorhomers x
Ah, the tension carries on. I expected to see Bardsey Island in this episode, but looks like I'll have to wait. Very relaxing and enjoyable, as ever. I saw something about the Isle of Man being on your itinerary somewhere, will you be looking in here in Chester on your way to the ferry? The salad looked nice. How did something healthy sneak its way into the Little Red Van 😆?
@@LifeistooshortCK ah ok well it looks v like it from what l remember of the movie , great video , also in Ireland we don’t get that much selection with the Lidl doughnuts 🍩 probably just as well lol
@@sandradowling7239 I have done a bit more research as I have not seen the film. One report mentions they used a property in the town of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan to stand in for Beatrix Potter’s house at Hilltop.
Ken have you heard of a TH-camr called ItcheyBoots? Its a solo motorbike rider named Noraly shes from the Netherlands. I got hooked on her adventures when she went from the vry southern tip of South America up to Alaska. Currently shes in East Africa finishing up a series and its very well done as yours are. She does good drone photography and shares her tips as well. Give it a try. I think you might fill up that motorcycle rider spot your missing. Hope you like it.
I have watched plenty of itchy boots videos. I agree they are well put together. Thanks for the recommendation we are always on the hunt for good channels 👍
Hello Ken and Carol. We really enjoy whatching your travels around the lyn peninsula in North Wales. We adore the area and visit regular. Could I ask please do you have an elsan toilet in your van? And if so where do you empty it on your travels. We plan on having the camper van experience ourselfs sometime. We have a touring caravan. We live in the Peak District, if you haven't visited there you would love it. Kind wishes from Anita and Steve..

I have had a few over the years from a BMW RS1000 to a Yamaha RD250 which I think was my absolute favourite although a Honda CB175 was also a really nice bike.
Hello Ken &Carol, We really like your vlogs and have found them very helpful, your tips and tricks are also very informative and give an insight to van life. What drone are you using for your aerial shots? We ordered a camper from AutoCampers a couple of months ago and can’t wait to hit the road. Who knows we may even pass one another on the road. Thanks again Sarah
Hi Sarah. My drone is a DJI Mavic Mini 2. Bet you can’t wait to get your camper, I know how we felt waiting for ours. Make sure to say hello if you see us out and about. Safe travels 😀
There's too many to mention Jon and we would hate to upset anyone by forgetting to name them. I am sure there are also plenty more that we don't know about ☺️

Andy.
Thanks Andy. I keep watching Sandy (Wiltshire Man) on his Himalayan and really fancy getting one 😊
Married 1985. Not full timers, would need a bigger van for that 👍
Ah, the tension carries on.
Thanks Peter. Yes Isle of Man next but going straight from home. We do try and eat healthy sometimes ☺️
Was that the house Rould nd Beatrix movie with Dawn French was in.. looks v like it even the gardens?
Not sure which film you mean Sandra. I haven’t found any mention of it being used as a film location.
@@LifeistooshortCK interesting, you should watch it sometime anyway as it’s a lovely movie x The tale of the curious mouse 🐁
Would these villages have been part of the fishing industry? They are beautiful to see.
Not sure Michelle but there were plenty of small boats around the coast.
Hi Ken and Carol, very enjoyable video. A trolley full of shopping and it all fitted neatly in your van but did you find the Pringles? 😀👍
Thanks Martin. Yes, only Carol knows where the Pringles are because she magically puts all the shopping away 😁
We don’t have a chemical toilet. See this episode th-cam.com/video/j1Xc_6KE8ro/w-d-xo.html
I'm just wondering, Do you carry a spare Drone with you? love the vids ty
No spare. If I lost it I would have to get another one. I do have another drone but no space to carry it as a spare. 👍
Could you save space in the freezer if you remove some off the embalagen ven you shopping
📦
Packaging
@@janharald1714 that is a good idea. Would save some space 👍😀
Love your videos and also the music you choose - can you give song titles ? :) I see a NV200 in my future

Just started this youtube channel. Nothing on it yet but it shows my park up in Aberdaron. Michelle
Lovely photo ❤️
I wouldn’t say you have the healthiest of diets but it sure looks tasty
Agreed. The next trip will have to follow a healthy theme I think :)
You had me at smashed burger 😍😍
😁😁😁👍😋
Beautiful weather on this trip !! Tell me … what are your ages ?:)
We’ve both passed three score years now Jennifer!
When things don’t fit bunny (in the fridge/freezer) take them out the packaging.
I need to remember to do that. Great tip, thanks 👍🙂
What was the bike you had Ken, or have you had more than one? 👍😎🌞😍
I have had a few over the years from a BMW RS1000 to a Yamaha RD250 which I think was my absolute favourite although a Honda CB175 was also a really nice bike.
Hello Ken &Carol,
We really like your vlogs and have found them very helpful, your tips and tricks are also very informative and give an insight to van life.
What drone are you using for your aerial shots?
We ordered a camper from AutoCampers a couple of months ago and can’t wait to hit the road.
Who knows we may even pass one another on the road.
Thanks again
Sarah
Hi Sarah. My drone is a DJI Mavic Mini 2. Bet you can’t wait to get your camper, I know how we felt waiting for ours. Make sure to say hello if you see us out and about. Safe travels 😀
Sorry forgot to ask about your favourite you tube channels. Saw you mentioned a couple but forgotten which vlog it was.
There's too many to mention Jon and we would hate to upset anyone by forgetting to name them. I am sure there are also plenty more that we don't know about ☺️
Good video
Thanks Lee 🙂
The Numty Club …..🤣🤣🤣🤣
😁👍
Thanks Ken, Carol,
Nice video, bit of everything, was there something other than the sign that made you move on?
Thanks David.
Thanks David. Just the sign and being close to the town with a lot of people around.
I`m an ex Biker never ridden for many years now.Still hold the license lol
Omg don’t we need a trailer for all our different cables !!
Can’t wait for the day when everything works on Bluetooth.
Great vlog again guys. Carol has an amazing figure. You’re a lucky man Ken. 😀. Thanks again. Looking forward to the rest of your Wales adventures 🤩
Thank you Gail, very kind 😊
