As soon as I hit that road I wouldn’t have been able to help it!! I would have red lined that boi!! And passed them cops and got a fat ticket lol! #iknowme
Are these old liter bikes reliable? I've heard that they develop a lot of issues overtime, I'm trying to buy an old r1 2003 or 04 so I'm a bit confused.
I've seen many 100000kms+ first gen R1. All of these older litre bikes are very reliable. They just have littles points to check. Like the 2nd gear on R1s, the cam chain on Kawis, etc..
Yes they are reliable bike. I have 2003 r1 with 94k miles and still going strong but over the years I have to replace my retrofire two that it beside chain and tires
hey dude, I'm looking at a 2003 r1 for my first bike, granted I ride dirtbikes and I have the fundamentals down. What do you recommend as far as me getting this bike?
Well what dirt bike so you ride/have comfortably ridden? As someone who races Motocross the first time I ever ride a 1000 was definitely scarry to an extent.
@@kekwnerd9464 More then likely your gonna have to rebuild the engine or have you already? $2500 for any type of R1 just sounds to fuckn good to be true...R6's are going for more then that buddy.
Pues si está divertida la carretera!! Guauu
what a beauty of the bike i have same but yours looks really good
Did you leave your garage door open ?

Bro I just got a high mileage 03 r1 and they are tanks! Mine will slip in 2nd sometimes if you really hammer it but other than that it's solid!
I left a 2019 r6 in the dust just 3 hours ago ahaha

I did this as my first after riding for bikes. It's all about throttle control bud. Can definitely be intimidating but you learn to respect the bike.
Bruh can u tell me if its worth to get a 2003 r1 in 2019? Buying for 3700$ does it worth
It's worth it. It's better looking and it could still keep up with today's bikes
@@anthonyarmstrong9508 thanks
Its good looking, very reliable and like he said it keeps up with today's bikes
I found one for 2.5k
