If you need help sustaining you can also use infused heartland/torugs with absorb stamina glyph to sustain better, as infused enchant carry over to the frontbar. If you don't need help sustaining then give the group extra pen with crusher enchant, as the video finely states. It can work both selfish and group oriented which is neat.
You could also pick redguard and a class with some sort of built-in sustain... I personally went redguard warden for my tank, I going for a more 1tank 3 dps dungeon running group. Rather then a trial or pvp tank.
This is great! Thank you! My main can craft most lower to mid level items. I just started a new character that will be a tank. I've never played a tank so this will really help.
I think overland is way more helpful for beginners. You can farm it yourself or buy it. Beginners won't have all the traits researched to bother with the crafted sets(most of which are not that good anyway)...
Kynemarcher's cruelty is pretty nice due to it giving the necro debuff (more than a necro can keep up) as well as other debuffs. It's cheap too and you can backbar it as well.
@@newworldforward1842 you can ask a guild mate to craft it. Most social guilds even have master crafter requests on discord to help new players with this
feel like all the sets that proc at low health need a rework. at no point should you ever "get low". in my experience everything is a one shot wether it's an unblocked heavy attack or a mechanic, i have never been in a situation where i'm just getting low on health because the incoming damage is so high.
Probably should ask this on another video. But would you recommend using crusader in place of Yolnahkriin if a player doesn't have eso + or the required dlc?
Over 18 seconds Tava’s Favour generates 72 ultimate to the user (assuming they dodge roll every 3 seconds). In contrast Drake’s Rush generates 24 ultimate per applicable group member or 96 if all members are within 15 metres of the user. So it requires all members to be within 15 metres to outperform Tava’s Favour. So if you’re pugging, Tava’s Favour might be a better option anyway. Great vid. Lots to think about.
Crafted sets aren't that great unfortunately. I'd recommend just buying some good over land sets when you hit CP 160. If you shop around you can get them in the right traits right away. With the new 10 crystals for a random dungeon it may not be a problem for you to spend some crystals to get the right traits(if you researched the traits). If you have a bunch of gold to spend look into getting some of the PvP sets! I think once you're CP160, just buy what you need and then go farm the dungeons, arenas etc. CP doesn't really matter much, even less with the next update.
Crafted sets are fine imo, I've done vet dlc dungeons with fortified brass with relative ease, but obviously they tend to be selfish so I can see why some have issues
As an experienced player brand new to tanking, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your videos about tanking.

I was waiting for a video like this one ! Those are always forgotten along with the overland sets

new tank here! thanks for these helpful videos!

Thoughts on doing an overland gear set version of this?

Hist whisperer from Blackwood is good for sustain and survival..and shackle breaker from vvardenfell
Is it possible to only backbar serpents disdain? Does the 5 piece carry over with barswap?
Yes, you can 1 bar it because once you apply the extended duration it will run until the debuff ends.
Thank you
thanks, appreciated

Taurus Pact! Horns Up!

Roll dodging every 3 second as a tank sound like a death wish to be honest. Especially with the cost increase with consecutive roll dodge
