The year is 2034...I finally salvaged enough parts from thousands of computers across the North American wastelands to compile a gritty and haggard PC that can play the video for me. The happiest new year I've had in 9 years... :')
Hello Mr. LH, Sir! Amster-slam has been a resounding success, that port and trade will fill the treasury! The people rejoice. Surprising that all your Guard Cavalry survived and you lost a line Infantry instead? Perhaps that was the Unit that you cannon balled into their back? Aside from that, it was a decent battle with these new elite units! Excellent to see. I will not comment on tactics of cavalry or encircling an enemy unit then friendly firing in a circle, that was interesting. With these elite units after a few volleys, give them the bayonnet! They will route in no time. I am curious to see this Hudson Bay battle then down into Manitoba against the Metis peoples? This will encircle Louisiana and the Mississippi regions? This may tick them off and into war? Time will tell. You may consider Sir, recruiting in Tunisia as a pirate army is in your lands? Otherwise I think your campaign is very well in hand, economically and militarily as well! Love this content and keep it coming! Viewed on January the 3rd of 25! Love the Cadbury side banter! Mini eggs are my favorite sinful delicious delight! 🍻
20:20 "We should be able to see off provincial cavalry with Horse Guards, dammit!" -- Sounds like that Horse Guards regiment is made up entirely of cousins of Sir Henry Simmerson!
30? Ah, my young friend…you know nothing about the way of aging! Starts in earnest at 40 and by 50, the doctor just looks at you when you come in with a wry smile, and when it’s time to answer your “why” question about whatever ailment, he will just softly chuckle asking “aren’t you over 50…”
Lionheart, a question. Nowhere seems to be fortified, does this MOD do away with fortifications round towns? I know you don't like fortified cities but it seems odd the AI hasn't built any, hence the question.
@@lionheartx10 thanks. Shame reallyu, 18th century warfare and campaigns revolved around sieges, so even though they had good reason to do so, losing the fortifications kind of spoils the game for me..
If they make an Empire 2 game do you think that units should be able to be placed in buildings? Right now the buildings only serve as cover but if they were better able to be used then ambush situations could be setup in town maps.
@@dragonslayer2107 units can be placed in buildings in Empire & Napoleon as well on walls for cover. Being able to interact with the battlemap environment is one of the big improvements they need to make going forward for new titles but I think we'll see that in the WW1 & 40K Total War Titles due out in the next couple of years.
@@lionheartx10 I did not know that because I have not seen the AI really use that. Thanks. I would definitely like to see it implemented more in the future.
14:05 the battle of the biscuits part gave me such GBBO (Great British Baking Show) vibes XD I could see them doing that!

Yes I believe they have been removed to make the AI and game generally more stable

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GIVE ME MORE.
But would the empire Florida Key Lime Pie? Or Southern Pecan Pie?
Happy new year!
Anyone know how to get the 1783 start date in this mod?
Do priests still spawn in church schools in empire 2?
No, religion has been replaced by a culture mechanic.
I'm watching 2035 it's good in the future 😮
