It's also worth mentioning here that having a full UK driving license is highly valuable and can significantly improve one's chances of securing employment in construction.
@@SheWhoDaresWins hello. Is it not a necessary requirement in London?. I’m coming to London in September 24. I’m a quantity surveyor, coming for a masters in construction project management. Looking forward to trying all your tips when I get there 🤝🫶
Too Good 💎 Could you suggest some best books & tips for tackling the disadvantages against us when job searching after a big career gap of 4 yrs due to family reasons in my field of AEC construction as Hvac site engineer ? I have completed internship back in 2019 but now i am uncertain about how to apply & get selected as fresher in new job with good pay..
Hi Michelle, Thanks for this great content, I've got over 10 years experience in setting out, bricklayer, plasterer, but I just relocated to the UK a few months ago, how can I get a cscs card?
It depends on luck honestly , I move to the UK in January of this year with all passion and eagerness to start new career here as I have five years of experience , passed citb and got cscs white card and still without any offer , I made so many applications and got only few interviews without even a feedback of offering or rejection. Honestly I will work a part time in a random job and start to apply for SMSTS course and PMP because two months is the longest gap in my career history and I won’t let this affect on me in the future 😒 , I watched your videos before coming here it was a great motivation but the reality here the process is so slow
Hi, I'm planning on attending MSOE and pursuing the Construction Management B.S degree. Then, I hope to pursue a career in Project Management. I was wondering what Construction Superintendent, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Construction Managers do on a daily basis. Thanks for uploading all of these informative videos.
Thanks for the video hope your Nd your child are well. Do you have any work available for bricklayers / improvers at your company as I have finished college just need to fill in my NVQ level 2 for construction so I can get my blue card and get on site but how can I do that without access to a site? Any help or information appreciated thanks
