I respect you, Employee. I did quit bring an NT employee some months ago... I would argue, as well as others, that this is like Dead by Daylight in respects to the thousands of hours that is necessary to reach a point of true understanding; but these hours much actually be spent meaningfully. I remember having ambition to do things grand that were out of the scope of the shift's duration, overly selfish and impatient, etc. - not playing the game correctly. I was on Fulpstation, and I would either play ghost role such as Ancient Golem or Ash Walker, and main in R&D, not having a good experience with Botany, and intimidated by the sheer amount of work involved in gaseous mixing and the raw amount of things one can do, but not within the span of the shift! Choosing a niche to serve the station, help security or be security... ways to extend the shift or end it sooner depending on alignment, instead of dawdling around complaining about being bored. Often, getting too immersed in the grind makes one lose perspective, staring and waiting for research points in R&D or doing the monotonous researches. I really don't understand how some of these robust gamers are able to do all those gas shell experiments with such finesse; it's like watching a pro driver, driving with such finesse, while I would be quite nervous on the wheel, unable to make such expert manouvers.
I think, instead of playing Fulp, I should just head to a /tg/ server should I find myself re-installing BYOND and getting back into SS13. The question I ask myself is how to grow immersed in roleplay and to have fun, and not be angry when the shift ends. From what I have been told, dying is part of the experience of SS13... I would think dying trying to kill bosses in Lavaland is much more fulfilling than acting bougie in R&D...
Thank you for reading, if you did. I talk a lot, and if I could somehow redirect this energy towards learning something, even about this game here called SS13, I would come to have a better experience overall.
Have a Blessed One!
Sincerely,
Lamadon Pyreus
TG has the HRP server Manuel, rounds last 2 hrs sometimes. The best way to RP immerse yourself is treat every round as episodic, get better every round , learn new roles and meet new people. I play on TG Sybil mostly.
nice guide, based ending.
I feel prepared to play sec after watching this, at least after I'll catch up on space law.
Can't wait for a psychologist tutorial. Its the one job i truly do not know what to do with.
Im a completely new player and just started, I had a psychologist walk up to me and ask if I was stressed, I said yeah and he gave me some crazy LSD that froze mev
Definetly didn't expect to hear Veritas' tarkov OST remixes on a SS13 channel, wow. Small world, man!
Hi, I'm a sec main and I love this guide. I pray for more people playing sec to make fun the antags vs station Tom vs Jerry like dynamic
Sec rules
Great security guide on a broader level than most. I appreciate the focus on stressing the teamplay, roleplay and decency aspect of the roles. You have the power to kill the fun of a round or enhance it instead, so it needs to be used wisely.
Personally though, the AI images feel rather pointless and don't really add anything.
As bartender or chef i like to make a large amount of beers or pizzas and deliver them to sec. Especially after a station wide issue is dealt with.
1:02 Oh shit. Dats me, Seven Erratic Glasses.
Just got this in my recommendations pretty based here is a sub you deserve it
Thanks
Sec is a hard job, especially if the other officers don't take you seriously, last time I tried, I got assaulted and when I came back with another officer to arrest the guy he decided to try to arrest a clown, and failed...
Ah yes, security.
The one department where no matter what you do, you'll be hated by the crew on most servers because of the shitsec stigma.
The important thing to know about security is a simple one: don't treat all seccies as scum on earth, and maybe the amount of actual shitseccies won't be getting bigger.
One time I got called shitsec for not committing enough assault on the crew, I genuinely don't know what these people want
Im aussie I have to play ss14 sadly. Or else id crack some heads on 13.
muy basado
Wait, you play ss13? I havent seen u since i quit mortal 2, this is refreshing. I'll serve you a Bloody Monkey sometime, its my specialty.
I need to play sec more to get robust.
Poop Dungeon 2:55
Oi! where's the guide to getting jumped by the 8 man strong group of tiders with the only intent to gut you with spears? After all it's what sec mains deserve.
Seccie propaganda 🤯
