unfortunetly it didnt work, but its weird cause steam has internet, i can use all its features, except for downloading... everytime i try to download a game it fails

I recently experienced something similar, when I was playing a game on STEAM, my computer's WIFI icon would suddenly disappear and I had to manually reset it every time. After a few months, I finally realized that it is STEAM's own problem, and it has nothing to do with windows and drivers.
All you have to do is go to STEAM settings and turn off all the options in the "In-game" section and set the PING to 1500. Problem solved~

Trying to put RF Evolution on my labtop. Got steam installed and put in the code from horizon hobby. I click on my games it says RF Evo. Is in my library but right above the game it says
"REMOTE DOWNLOAD STATUS:
Unable to reach your PC"

I just had steam not let me do updates on games and it was cause I had a controller cable plugged in but it was coming up as unrecognised usb so it for some reason caused this problem
