I've been using Steam since i can remember and i'm constantly amazed by how much work WE (the people using steam's program) have to do to get their client to actually work. This is beyond ridiculous.

Holy.. thanks man i was trying to resume my download on red dead redemption 2. It was going at like 5 megabytes P/s tops, and stuck at 48%, after this video and changing my dns and server to the us now my downloads are going at a smooth 15 mp/s all the time

I've completely formatted my main drive and reinstalled Windows, and switched to my phone's hotspot which is using a different ISP and the downloads still keep failing after trying all of these things. It's so incredibly frustrating because everything else works just fine

You could use Google primary and backup, or cloud flares primary and backup. But putting trust in 2 seperate companies is usually better. It's not often one has issues, but they do once in a while.
