The root cause of our suffering is our own thinking! The moment we stop thinking is when our happiness begins! We may think that thinking is helping us, but all it´s really doing is causing us to feel bad, sad etc

We often suffer in life because we believe our thoughts are "true." The brain is a powerful organ, too powerful for its own good oftentimes. It overthinks imaginary problems and threats. The mindfulness workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels is pretty cool, as is the Tao Te Ching, for slowing down and observing thoughts.

Dr. Penny is such an amazing teacher. I took her for psych during undergrad and she was quite the force. I've seen this ted talk several times and it always reminds of just how much raw power she has a human being. Phenomenal.

Amazing, this is one of the best talks I've seen. Very well explained.
There's a method to question our thoughts through 4 questions which was developed by author Byron Katie in her bestselling book Loving what is.
The first question is; Is this thought true?
And the talk reminded me a lot to that.
    Much love!

So we know this now, we know the brain misinterprets a lot of information and circumstances, is basically catching yourself when your brain makes inaccurate assumptions or interpretations the way to counter this from happening? And once you do that you’ll just snap back into reality? Don’t see why this wouldn’t work let me know what you think people.
