I have a few questions. I don't know if I missed it, its been a long day at work for me. What sound deadening are you using? The Apline unit is discontinued, any recommendations for headunits? the tweeter pillar, can you make those on request I provided the part (It looks sick)?
I am looking at getting a vf series 1 or 2, depending on what's around. I have two Deaf Bonce 3015R in a massive box that will be taking up most of the wagon boot. Currently undecided on second battery locations, but will cross that bridge when I get there.

I have a Helix V8 in my car. Been happy with it so far but may go to V12 when I do some upgrades next year.
I have done a couple of V12's now and they are an serious bit of kit. When you open the software and see 14 channels of dsp it's just a bit epic hahaha. Technically can make 2kwrms 🤯
One amp I always wanted to hear how good it was, those Brax amp, Damn, look at those Amps!!!, Damn F'n Beauty.
Question for you sir, how is the SQ on those Brax Amps? I Always wanted to know.

Hey mate loved the vid and the install. Ended up picking up one of these cars at the start of the year and have done some small things so far. Any idea if the new version of the alpine is still coming out and when. If so i would be intrested in possibly getting you guys to do a install and some amps. Not a fan of the aeopro kit for the car and the stock head unit sounds like shit.

do you mind sharing the system cost..approximate? id imagine thats not chicken feed given what my kit cost... Im curious Jay, you guys recommended 2 unity subs for my rok, think one will do the job ? might use the second one in home theater if so :)

That Q10W is a little monster for what it is, actually rated double what your ones are. Because of you space restriction slimlines we're the answer. Back to back even though they are amazing slims, they will never play as low as full size sub. Double the cone area and they can then hit harder down low 🙂

we have a vf redline wagon, which does not have the bose mylink system + your changing everything Holden put in including factory speakers which are not bose and are different to other vf speakers? Cost would have been at least 10K with labour for sure?
This one was exactly the same as yours, non bose. The big difference with the bose system is the fact that it has an amplifier from factory. There was more than 10k in parts alone 😉
@@wickswirescaraudioandfabri7730 mate i have a sedan ,so theres no way i would spend that much on a sound system even the 8" alpine head unit alone is 3.5K plus then add amp and speakers, etc etc, not worth it ,but each to their own as they say, real good work as well mate. :)

Mostly Stinger. This build used Stinger pro speaker and power wire throughout, then some custom made RCA's from Dynamic Audio Australia

How does the M One X perform? That’s on my radar for a sub amp.
Fantastic little amp. Sounds great and has oodles of power on tap. Can even be strapped to another M1X if you need even more haha 😉
Is this head unit still available from alpine for the vf?
Unfortunately not, they were looking at doing an updated version that incorperates the new halo unit
How do I get this Alpine interface with that trim? and are we still able to use heating and cooling seats?
This particular one was called the I902 and is now disscontinued. The VF kit comes with everything to make it fit and work except for the heated seat, But the new version coming next year will have that sorted out 🙂
