Huge US market waiting for an upgrade for the Chevy SS silver box. Really wish you can bring this to us since there seems to be some compatibility differences
I looked at the website but it’s not the greatest to navigate especially on phone. I can’t find this particular infotainment setup on the website either.
Hi I have a few questions: 1)How does the car play system handle overlaid graphics from the factory head unit? For example, when changing volume on the factory unit, a volume bar appears at the bottom and disappears after a short time, do overlays like this show on top of car play or not? 2)Does the reverse camera automatically come up when switching to reverse gear or do you have to switch back out of carplay for this? 3)Does the carplay work over bluetooth or only over USB? 4)Is this kit compatible with the Series 2 VF or only the Series 1? 5)at 1:05 it's mentioned "the unit is uninstalled, made some modifications, added some modules and then refitted the unit" could you elaborate on this? is this still something that can be done DIY?
With this module installed will the nav directions and speed zones on the HUD be updates to align with google maps or apple maps? Or will the HuD only show the factory nav guidance and speed zone info on the HUD? Which is very out of date

No visual overlays, but the volume is audible.
@@Universalfuzedotcom wondering what the answers to the other questions this person has are. Is it Bluetooth or usb?
Is the module plug and play or do you have to cut wires from the factory wiring loom?
If I get this installed, just want to check that all current temperature, fan speed etc and all steering wheel features will still work and displayed
It sure does, no factory features are compromised

Hi, do you know some update to make it wireless?
I have Caprice in the Middle East 2016, the same screen, but without navigation and without a CD input, do you install the device?
Would these work on VF HSV models and if yes, would you be able to retain the HSV EDI?

Is there any difference between this one and the import monster one? And why should I pick your one over theirs given they are the same price?
Not Jellskie, we haven't used the import monster version to compare.
how does this work in terms of getting to the settings for the car through the head unit?
None of the factory functions change so all settings are as per normal, the CarPlay/Android Auto function simply appears as another source.
Why is it so expensive? 1.3k to swap out a head unit?
