Hello all you good people and welcome to another Adventure. Kim and I took an epic Oregon Coast to California Coast road trip. This has got to be one of the best stretches of highway in the world. We hit up all the best sites along the way including the always amazing Avenue of the Giants, San Francisco, Big Sur, and Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, just to name a few. A different type of adventure for us this time - road trip without the trailer. With the roads we traveled to get there, I’m very glad we left it home.
What an amazingly beautiful part of the coast line. There are other routes to take if you have an RV, or just hotel it along the way like we did. Either way, we think it’s another must see!

Hi you two! Henry an I did a similar trip via Reno a couple years ago to Riverside in a brand new Kia Soul to visit his parents. Had to break it in lol. Ahhhhhh. What a fun trip that was. I love a good road trip!

Will there be snow on the road if you try this road trip the first week of March?
I don’t think so. They don’t get much snow in that area.
My favorite road trip. But I think you missed the most popular feature at Big Sur. The trail that leads to the waterfall at the beach. It's about a 20 minute easy hike.

Maybe I'm not far enough into the video. Could you tell me approximately how long the trip took?
@@kimjohnson8471 I took us a couple of days from Portland. We stopped in the redwoods and did some hiking and were not in a huge hurry.

Great video! Question #1 - we are planning on going next spring. When you are up early, how long before the roads get busy? Question #2. We will have 2 - 3 weeks. How many places would we need to book to stay between San Francisco and Portland?
@Studiolussoalberta as far as the first question the earlier the better. The afternoon was insane and no fun whatsoever. Don’t know the answer in regards to hotel stays as we are not from the area.

Cruising One with a great soundtrack on the stereo is one of the best things ever. Also can be a great chance to clear your head, too if that's what you need.

A trip along the coast is always a favorite of mine. Bandon is one of the prettiest areas on the Oregon coast in my opinion.

Oh the road the Hana. We’ve done it twice. That was one too many times. Absolutely breathtaking but boy that is a scary road.
