As a uk tourist Did this 3 weeks ago but big sur closed due to landslides 😢..... So didn't get todrive bixby bridge, so had to go inland to continue south all the way to san Diego..... amazing experience though, with stays in Carmel, san Louis abispo and santa Barbara..... brilliant.

i have driven from san jose to big sur and nothing prepared me for this drive. nothing. i still feel like it was a dream.i have to redo it as the darkness caught up with me and the fog set in. driving back was no picnic in the foggy darkness. 2 days prior i had driven from san jose through the eldorado forest to lake tahoe. it was impossible to imagine this imposing california road trip would be topped. the steep cliffs and forested mountains, sharp turns and deep gorges. same thing, driving back in the dark was no picnic but the starry night was a sight to behold in that landscape. it was yet another narrow windy road and i had a mile of cars i behind me as i couldnt dare do anything over 30mph😅😅😅. back to the oacific coast highway; i dare you to drive from cape town to the cape of good hope in south africa snd experience total de ja vu. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️. i hope to experience southern California one day.

Really nice video. Very informative and the views… 😍
The tips and your soothing voice are a plus. Just one small suggestion.. the music is a little loud. Other than that I love your video! It really helped me plan my road trip from LA to San Francisco. 🙌😊

Thanks for watching! The music sounds way louder on TH-cam vs when I was editing - definitely something I'm working on as I edit my videos in the future!

Best drive in the country. Great video but I would suggest that you use less music, and reduce the volume of what you keep. You don't need it and it distracts from your excellent video 😊
