    You can also use shredded Styrofoam. Like the size of the granules in a bean bag chair. Furniture stores just throw it away.

    2 parts paper pulp and 1 part portland cement without perlite or sand will also work great

    How does this handle water once it's done? Is it porous or still taking on water, or is it waterproof once cured?

      I was wondering the same thing. It is a planter but no info on how to use it as one, or if she's already done one and been using it and no issues, etc.

    Is it as strong as a normal cement pot? I mean would it last as long as a cement pot.

    I wish I could just find you at a craft she selling your pots. Would this work for a shallow birdbath?

    Is it still pretty lightweight, or considerably heavier? Tyfs! Love it.

      The paper will always absorb water even when this is cured, so mold can be an issue over time

    Can you add any type of food coloring to make the bowl a color instead of cement color?

    • @charsnest147
      @charsnest147  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can paint them afterwards.

    How long to you wait before taking the pot out of the mold?

    • @charsnest147
      @charsnest147  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I usually cover it with plastic for two days. Then uncover it and leave it in the mold for another few days. Wait until it starts to turn a lighter color and that means it is dry.
