Sir if an employee on retirement have 270 days EL and 60 days HPL
Then he got 270EL+30 HPL(bcz HPL not commuted) then encashment will be 270 + 30*.5= 285 days or full 300 days?

Sir, in case of resignation/ death in mid of the month, that month will not be counted as complete calendar month. It will only be counted as complete calendar month only in case when it happens on last day of the month. Kindly check.

No I case of death it is counted as full calendar month but not in case of resignation

Sir,
I would like to know how many E.L and how many HPL would be taken into account for calculating my Leave Encashment amount on the date of my retirement on 31.05.2022.
On January this year I availed LTC / 10 days leave encashment. Apart from this I also availed 11 days E. L and 10 days of Commuted leave (on medical grounds with Medical Certificate). I have never been suspended or removed. Served for 36 years, my Basic pay at the time of retirement was Rs.90,000/-. Shall be grateful to you for explaining the details of Calculation of Total E.L. for the purpose of encashment and the amount payable to me.

Sir maximum 300days EL and HPL can be encashed at the time of retirement.
For example: You are having 270EL due then 270EL + 30HPL can be encashed.In case of HPL half leave salary(BP +DA) given. Another option: if you are having 310 EL is due then maximum 300EL can be encashed and other surplus EL and HPL due lasped.

Sir, can we take non-commuted HPL without medical certificate for going on vacation?

In vacation there is no need of HPL.In other matters,Half salary you will receive.If you go with medical Certificate then 2HPL convert to one commuted leave and you get full salary.There is no need of taking HPL in vacation.
