Now that was a killer Demonstration on both flashlights! That’s exactly what i was looking for. Someone to show the distance of what these babies can do. Usually when someone does a video on a flashlight they may shine it a couple hundred feet and not show the real capabilities of the light. You have done sn EXCELLENT video demonstration. I appreciate that. Oh and by the way you have caused me to buy the AceBeam K70! I thought my Manker MK35 had some reach.

Acebeam was Supbeam first...I have the Supbeam K40vn (model is complete the same as this light) ...throws 1000 meters+...very nice too..but my TK61vn throws 1560 meters...it's really a monster :)

Panasonic or nitecore ? and my second questions is Ace beam official site recommend" K70 must use 4 high drain unprotected 18650 cells,or protected 18650 cells with PCB including 3 MOSFETs" what does it means PCB , protected and unprotected. Please answer . Thank in advance.
I got mine for $165 from an american seller, had it in 3 days. I also prefer this over the Thrunite TN42 because of the ease of use on the controls. Don't need to cycle through the light modes, you can turn it on in whatever mode no matter what. I love the 1 lumen moonlight mode. I daily carry a Fenix PD35. But when I go in the yard now, this is my go to light.

Question:
How long does the K60 last on its FULL ("Turbo") brightness?
Been looking at the K70 because I heard it can last VERY long on Turbo where others advertise 1 hour and such but it's really more like 5-10 minutes and then step down, sometimes a minute or less! Also the distance is what I'm looking for.
But now, as I see you do a side-by-side with the K60, the K60 beam/floddy is EXACTLY what I need. My only hang-up on the K60 is how long it can last on Turbo, and I don't mean the numbers on the box, I mean real world/full lumin before any kind of step down.
Your personal experience would be much appreciated.
P.S. Love the side-by-side WITH the night/day shot so we can get a better idea.

*You might want to look at the Acebeam L16. That has the exact same emitter as this monster Acebeam K70 but in a small size!*
*The L16 was reviewed by scannerguy1968 some time ago now. It is a superb tactical light, has weapon mounts available, and remote switch too-- on Amazon. It runs about $100 there if you look around. The L16 uses one 18650. It does get VERY HOT after only 3-4 minutes time on full turbo, so if you need longer "turbo" runtimes (if handheld) then be advised.*
*The L16 is 6.1" long, uses a XHP35 HI emitter, throws 603 meters and is rated @2000 lumens. People who see the light in use are always astounded by its brightness AND its throw. In my several decades of avid "flashlight" obsession--- the Acebeam L16 is still my preferred choice for a tactical type, short-use, single cell light. It is absolutely one to have close at hand when things "go bump in the night."*
