      For me it still looks like an artificial prison for people. Humans should live in harmony with the nature.

    Really beautiful pics from my home town 🎉...I was born in Vienna and lived most of my life here...with a 5 years "break" in Munich, Germany... I love to travel but coming home to Vienna always feels special to me

    I already had dinner but somehow I feel hungry - I just passed Kaiserschmarrn and I fear there will be more temptations in this video 😂

    I moved out of vienna into the suburbs and what I miss the most are the food opportunities in vienna. Isralo. Vietnamese, al sorts of chinese, thai, japanese, georgian,...

      Loads of food choices for a city that is not super big!

    Nice, but what's a "Stephenplatz"? 😉

    Well actually the "Viennese classic version" of Kaiserschmarren is made in the oven, and I can tell alone by the looks that one wasn´t made in the oven, but in the pan on the stove = and therefore that´s not "the classic Viennese way" but the "mountain hut way".
    There is nothing wrong about that, but it´s not "the most classic Viennese version" but actually the "rural version" but served with the Viennese classic side = stewed plums.
    Actually there is no place where "the classic - Viennese - Kaiserschmarren" is offered for sales anyway, because an oven-made Kaiserschmarren can´t be produced and then sold in masses simply because on the stove you can prepare the batter in several pans simultaneously quite quickly in few minutes which you can´t with an oven due to the space limit of an oven and it takes also a little bit longer in behalf of the cooking time and because a Kaiserschmarren has to be served hot and fresh on spot and can´t be pre-prepared and then heated up, it can´t be done efficiently for high number sales in a restaurant setting or booth/street sale setting but only in a home made dinner setting..I personally just do it for dinner guests, but for me alone I do it rural in the pan on the stove because it´s less effort.
    The difference though, by the way is then solely just the texture...when made "the classic Viennese way" in the oven in a casserole the batter rises way way way more than when prepared in the pan on the stove so the Kaiserschmarren´s texture becomes then as fluffy and airy and light as like as a Soufflee, well it is then an actual Soufflee but just cutted into mouth pieces

      This silly classist "classic" elitism apathetic disposition is why most people abhor the viennese. grow up. no one really cares about these silly things. act like a real capital city for once.

      @muinteoirdior You again...Really...
      the Irish sheppard who called Kaiserschmarren "the poor man´s pancake" on an other channel and now it´s "elitism"..What a swing of 180 degrees
      So you are not only totally ignorant in behalf of that matter which you have already shown on that other channel but also additionally totally inconsitent & undecided.
      Pathetic.
