This is a Playthrough of the Game.i do not plan to collect all items or show how to get achievements,If there are any.This is a remake of the original megaman x on the super nintendo.not much has changed.

I used a program called RemoteJoyLite0.18 which is a plugin that only works on hacked psps.The plugin streams my psp to my pc monitor's screen,than i used a program like fraps to record the psp.To record sound i use an audio cable that is plugged into my psp's earphone jack and the other end to the output of the computer.Than i use sony vegas to edit and compress the video so it can be uploaded to youtube.

(X fights and defeats Sigma and the room goes dark as he explodes.)
X: Could I defeat him? I don't think so...
(The room grows light again to reveal Sigma in a monstrous, copper-colored form that takes up more than half the room.)
Sigma: Bha ha ha ha! Not yet! THE BADDLE HAZ JUSD BEGUNN! DIE!! XXX! JUSDIE, X!!
X: What is he talking about... Though he is not fully conscious, he still remembers revenge... I'll put you out of your misery, Sigma! Just rest in peace!
(X fights Sigma's second form and eventually defeats it.)
Sigma: Gwaaaaaaaa! Ghaaaaaaa! It's useless! IT IS USELESS! You know it is, X! You can't defeat me so easily... You know you can't, X...
X: I have to work for the reconstruction of the world... I have no time to waste on you... If you show up, I'll defeat you.
Sigma: Bha ha ha ha ha! Don't forget you said that. That gives me the motivation to come back again someday! I will! I... will... Wooooaaaaaaa!!

Mark Gatha, the man who gave X the voice of a TRUE Megaman.
To think before he retired it was Mark Gatha who voiced the best version of X, and even Domon Kasshu. Now he's a Surgeon. Wishing him all the best.

Mark Gatha was the voice actor for X here. Unfortunately, he has retired from the VA-ing career to become a dentist. At least that's what I heard

I love how X was presented in this game, i wish X would be presented like this from here on out.
While Mark Gatha retired from voice acting, well what can you do.
Capcom could hire someone who could emulate Gatha’s performance, though that will be hard to find. His voice really suits the character.
rewatching this and the day of Sigma makes me think that the virus that infected Sigma from Zero doesn't really have a reason to be evil. It's just a plain sadistic nature to see chaos unfold and toy with the will of the innocent, to see how far they'll go. Sigma's view of the world is the same as sitting on a throne and watch with pleasure seeing a pure and innocent being have to make a sacrifice between his selfishness or his growth. X is too forgiving and a rethinker, he's like a pure child. Sigma seeing X's "limitless danger" is more of in the eyes of what an innocent person can't do when they have to be decisive. However we all know he is proven wrong.

I always wanted this version of X because he grew as a character instead of wandering why he has to fight.
I'm glad to see that one of the best games for the SNES received a really good remake.

The voices are fantastic, X games finally got good dub (X4 still gives me nightmares). Too bad that I don´t have psp to play this game.

for those who are having trouble keeping more than 1 subtank when you fight sigma here's a hint: power up your mega buster to where it either shoots out the big blue shot or the pink 1 when you fight the wolf. the wolf will have no chance to use any of the attacks he does. he'll fall backwards every time. this will ensure you have at least 2 or 3 for sigma's final form.

Well to be honest about it, the whole final Velgauder Sigma battle is different because in the original it was pretty much just a still body with floating hands. In this it's an entire mechanized machine torso coming from the wall and the whole body moves along with the hands. I think I know which attacks you are talking about but the whole boss in general is easier because you can see things coming easier than in the original because the whole body makes movements.

Lord Hyperdragon well when i played it all the upgrades were not there where they were suppose to be so I just thought oh they took them out of this game so i beat it with no armor or dash boots or buster upgrade

You know, if you fail to get the buster upgrade canister, zero can actually give x his buster arm when he dies, and if you have zeros buster part the full charge shot will be a red plasma shot which is actually stronger on sigmas wolf form than the pink spiral shot from the upgrade canister

When Sigma beat with his saber (second part), I think the Spark Mandrill attack is good.
Not sure if you knew this. But the Dog battle before Sigma, You can blast him a couple of times with Shotgun Ice. (Spam it 5 or 6 times) and he dies in under 10 seconds
That makes sense. I leapt to conclusions and thought that the game's general speed was slower to match with the difficulty decrease of MMPU. To be fair though, they did get rid of/nerf final Sigma and Velgauder's cheapest attacks, which is a good change, even if it makes the game easier.
4. Sigma 1st form always has a cape that he takes off before fighting X or Zero in both games. His 2nd form is weak against large spherical weapons (Rolling Shield in MMX and Spike Ball in MMX5) and attacks with his fists in the fight.
You can kill the dog with Hadouken in one hit.
Shotgun Ice is great for destroying the dog

They should do Maverick Hunter X versions of all X1-X6, just as they should do MMPU versions of all classic series!
You can also use the tornado on the dog for easier kill........for Sigma just keep on climbing and dropping on the wall and hit hime while going up or while he's on the ground.......for the bigger Sigma.......dont know....never defeated himm

Maverick Hunter X homage to G-Gundam. X has Domon Kasshu's voice and Sigma has Master Asia's voice. X's glowing hand was a reference to Shining Gundam's Shing Finger or G-Gundam's Burning Finger and X's hadoken was a reference to G-Gundam's Seikiha Tenkyoken attack.
The only game where X is transported directly to the boss!

I juts beat this game and I like the idea that they added the mega man X movie. the movie was awesome because it tells you what happens before this game.

The video recording software might be causing some lag because this video was slower than what it is normally in the game but when it gets sped up it becomes faster than the normal game speed because the video uploader edited it because of time constraints back in 2008 when you could only upload videos up to 10 minutes at a time.
And, yes, Mark Gatha gives a really awesome voice to X (not like the shitty one of MegaMan X4, fuck that is the voice of MegaMan, not for X!!!!!!)

I actually like this version of the final Sigma Boss fight over the original. Not that the original was bad but this was easier and wasn’t killed by a boring method (Standing on his hand while firing a Arm Part Buster Shot as his head).
